Jeep gave me the license plate mount as well because my dealer didn't install it. I'm actually glad they didn't install it cause I hate the look of it. I went with the aftermarket flip up mount. It's a nice simple install that works great. No hole drilling or anything, mounts using the 2 front bolts from the steel winch plate. Looks great and keeps in line with the aggressiveness of the steel bumper.
@@Scottiegillespie it seems like my comment letting you know the info on the mount won’t post for some reason. Maybe because I inserted the link, not sure. But I bought it on Quadratec and it’s called, Fishbone Offroad FB21098 Hawse Fairlead License Plate Mount. It mounts behind the front plate and held in by the 2 bolts, you just loosen them and place the mount on the bolts. It doesn’t sit all the way down on the bolts due to Jeeps design, but it sits on it enough and once you tighten the bolts it’s nice and tight and isn’t going anywhere. It’s nice and solid. I like it and think it works well.
I've seen some aftermarket solutions that allows the license plate holder to flip up when the winch is needed. Curious if you've looked into that option.

I actually haven't. Mine comes off pretty fast with little effort, but that would for sure faster. I'll have to look into it for sure. Ty
