Some audition tips, and my experience auditioning for the music department in my current university!

If you already play piano, you might be able to test out of the more basic piano classes. People did that in my school. That is, unless you are piano major, then you would take full on piano lessons to be able to then do recitals.

@@ZipplyZane Hi!, i certainly could have done that but i also was expecting them to have me play something at my audition but i wasn’t told to. That’s probably because i only auditioned for voice,. Theres only just 1 piano class but theres just piano 1 and 2, and I’d prefer to just do those to classes to fulfill the piano proficiency requirement that way because I don’t really have that much experience with piano I’ve only done a bit of lessons but was not really very consistent with actual practice because i really am more interested in singing but I still did piano lessons anyway since it was the same teacher for both voice and piano

@@kaylasmusic Ah. That's what I did, actually. I do have a lot of piano experience, but mostly playing by ear, not reading music.
I think it would be fun to watch your progress. I hope you keep posting clips of you singing, and maybe even playing if you feel comfortable.
