1993 and now it is 2024. music is still fresh on my old ears.
The first Pursuit Of Happiness album kicked butt.

Yes unlike bands before them who worte things like 'Christine Sixteen' or 'Shes only Seventeeen'. When your 15 listening it doesn't seem so bad as when your 50 or the guys who wrote it were heading for the 30s.
Canadian culture gave me so much cool shit. Pursuit, The Hip, April Wine, Rush, Rheostatics, Junkies, and so much more. So blessed....

What a great night that was for all the acts on the bill.
Billy had such a femi voice and there was a girl near the front and I was not far away was on her boyfriend's shoulders.
He said, come on back to the bus.
She looked at her boyfriend, and she looked at Billy Squier.
She chose the bus and her boyfriend was in disbelief.
Listened to the Love Junk album all during my Senior year of High School which was when this concert took place. Class of 1994 baby, just turned 18 back then. Wished this song was used as my graduation ceremony song ... you don't even want to know what song our high school grad committee used instead.

@@stellam.4728 "Smells Like Teen Shit" by Nirvana. Some Nirvana fanboy got on the highschool grad committee that year, it was the same year that Cobain died, just a couple months afterwards actually. I always hated that song and I still do to this day, one of the most overrated, juvenile, immature, teenage emo anthems in music history. It was mortifying and embarrassing as hell having to sit through that emo anthem being played out loud full volume on the sound speakers during the high school graduation commencement, all in front of our parents too. Whoever it was that decided to use that emo anthem for our high school grad commencement that year still needs a serious beating.
