If I remember correctly, she had to have reconstructive surgery because of the abuse she endured. When you are in an abusive relationship even just emotionally and verbally it brings your self-esteem to an all time low. Taylor was in an extremely abusive relationship both physically and verbally. That is why she had plastic surgery. If I remember correctly, she had to have reconstructive surgery because of the abuse she endured. When you are in an abusive relationship even just emotionally and verbally it brings your self-esteem to an all time low. It doesn't matter how beautiful you are if your partner is constantly telling you that you're not good enough, you're not pretty enough etc... Hunter and Taylor have actually experienced some of the same issues on the show and in real life. It's like the saying about art imitating life. Both Hunter and Taylor lost a child. Both experienced physical and mental abuse. Both were used and mistreated by men. It's absolutely heartbreaking. Know one deserves that and due to all the trauma she experienced is the reason she left the show several times. Just wanted to shed some light on why she did what she did to her face.
