I really like this idea and video thank u for sharing it with us yeah I would of done the same at a auction when getting too excited.
I think the best way to put holes in thin plastic is a solder iron to melt through at least works best for me :)

I have 2 separate 75 gallon tubs for my red eared sliders. Would it be possible to hook this sump up to both tubs?
Yup! Either have one tub drain into the other before the second drains into the sump or have two pumps and let both tubs drain back into the sump.
So how do the water make it to tanks? Can i use this for multiple tanks? Im new to using sumps
