Toddler dies after being found unresponsive at park in Palmdale

- Authorities are investigating after a toddler was found dead at a park in Palmdale Wednesday. Deputies responded to an unresponsive child at Melville J. Courson Park located at 38226 10th St East shortly before 9 a.m., according to the Palmdale Sheriff's Station.
The child is reportedly a 3-year-old boy, according to neighbors who knew him. The boy was found at a playground by arriving deputies. He was rushed to the Antelope Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
