This montage is so great because Grian is like "so now that we have made the barge a bit bigger... We are going to get into what we were ACTUALLY going to do, which is upgrade the barge."
It's incredible how Grian has gone from being so broke he had to make a dinky little raft as his shop to being one of if not the richest hermit on the server with the second biggest shop in the shopping district.

Not only did you see the stages the barge went through, you also got to see what was going on at the time when it did, the mayor campaigned posters, the button from the gauntlet, the mumbo for mayor shirt
The barge was such a perfect build for a shop. It was designed practically and looked the part perfectly. I think it fit well with Grian's building style in season 7 too
So after counting the minecraft days of his final barge upgrade ( 10:30 to 10:56) which was 16 minecraft days, I was able to get how much time it took him to upgrade the barge which was 5hrs and 20min. idk why I decided to do this but I did it.
Considering that I zoned out of hermet craft for a while (stopped watching just before the war) it was nice to see what became of the barge. Note: at somepoint I will watch the entire season in the future.
The barge might be one of my favourite buids ever in terms of nostalgia, I have so much goot memories of watching Hermitcraft and seeing this shop over and over again. He had such a good plan for this shop and executed it perfectly.
HermitCraft season 7 has to be my favourite season. I tuned in for every episode for this season. I haven't been as invested as I was for season 7 for any other season
