Excellent vid, great info..!
Thanks 👍
I bought mine in October, lots of rides on my youtube channel on the Engwe E 26. I can’t speak more highly of it! Such a great bike overall and the cost is great for all the features.
👍👍
Looking forward to comparison video between E26 and L20 😊
👍👍
I bought a 250watt yosepower kit like you have done before. I have add 11:25 ed mine to a lightweight 20" folding bike to the front wheel. I ran a freewheel test today indoors on mph. Level one 7.7, level two 10.9, level three 13, level four 14.7 and level five 17.5. It will interesting to actually see what I do off road whilst pedalling. Never added the motor to not pedal as it is for my fitness now to assist. Added the largest battery 36v 15.6a to the rear carrier. Never added the thumb throttle, brake levers and light, just the PAS. Now I have 2 WD.
👍👍
Have you ever thought about presenting TV shows and or being a Comedian? Great fun video as always.
I have never thought about it, but thank you very much.
Loved your review my man. I’ve just purchased an e26 from their website, but have just checked their latest Trust Pilot reviews, and they’re poor! Really hoping my £1100 investment isn’t at risk now. Will be my first e bike
I found the E26 to be an excellent bike 👍
Could you perhaps share the measures of those front rack studs? Preferably in millimeters! Engwe doesn't sell the p20 rack but there are some better inexpensive racks out there anyway but i guess we could always drill additional holes in the basket plate to make fit. Also im considering to fit a bike style Small windscreen to help keep a bit of wind and rain out of the face. Although most bicycle windscreen mostly designed for baby's 😅.. i know how much it helps on mopeds to keep bugs out of the eyes😂 especially when bombing this bicycle down the road
I will try and remember to measure them for you 👍
Morning, thanks for the great vid. Could i ask, did yours come with a uk plug? Mines got a 2 pin.. cheers
I can't remember if it did or not, I will check and get back to you.
Cheers bro. Mins got a crappy 2 pin.
@@sirguesty mine did come with a 3 pin UK plug
Thank you
Hi ya me butties, just looking for some advice on ebikes. what do you think is the best way to go buy or build? my needs are for more hanging on rather than all the peddling as im waiting a new hip?
If you have a bike already then build would be the cheaper option. But if you have hip issues then something like a pre built step thru would be a good option, as they are much easier to get on and off
@@baconbuttties do you think the new E26 is good value?
@@bruce8681 Yes I think the E26 is good value, have you watched my L20 review?
@@baconbuttties thank you for our prompt reply and yes i have watched all your vids on ebikes now.
@@bruce8681 👍👍
Hi Baconbutties. Nice review, thanks. I just wondered if you had any view about ENGWE post sales service. I assume you don't worry about such things, the numerous boxes you receive are, I imagine, free of charge, but I would welcome your comments?
I am going to buy the bike described here, but am rather concerned by the Trustpilot review which has posted a warning that reviews are incentivised (very common of course) and therefore issued no Trust score. There are also a good crop of negative comments regarding customer support? Common to many of these drop shipped bikes that seem to appear from .... who knows where?
As a service to your followers and myself, I would welcome your views/experience? Many thanks.
I can only speak from my experience which has been fantastic and I have great communication with Engwe. I have also never had a problem with any of their bikes. Also to add a lot of people have emailed and messaged me that they have purchase Engwe bikes after watching my videos, that has also been positive. I can only speak from my experience 👍
@@baconbuttties Thanks
76lbs, Bejezus, ya wouldn't want to pedal that for more than a few feet, seems decent enough, i would tilt the light down or you will get some arsey car drivers kicking off.
The light was a bit high, and yes it is a big bike 👍
Can't decide between this E26, an L20 or an Engine Pro .
Only thing I'm concerned about is the last one is 750w if I'm right.
Engine Pro is advertised as 750
I have watched your reviews on all the engwe bikes ,but i am struggling to make my mind up ,i am about your age and build ,which one would you choose? And thanks for all the great videos 👍
For practically and ease of use my personal choice would either be the L20 or the E26. The E26 is quite a big bike....If you need to transport the bike around then I would go for one of the folding options.
@@baconbuttties brilliant thanks for your quick response 👍 much appreciated.
@@johnrichards5440 👍👍
Does it have cruise control like the machine X ?
I will take a look and get back to you.
You say a 250w motor that can be unlocked......Would it be a re-labelled 750w
The 70nm of torque is there whether you ride it locked or unlocked . It just allows it to go faster than the legal 15.5 mph
well does it have a 750W that is downgraded to a 250W...as they are sold in the states as a 750W and Engwe says they only make one motor
@@baconbuttties
i want to buy an extra battery for E26.which battery i order ? kindly guide me
You will have to look on the engwe website. Do you want the same battery or one you can use on the rear rack?
Why this Metal Grill on the Floor at your Braketest Lane? What is this?
To stop sheep and cows in the past going on the road
Engwe make some very eye catching bikes. Just waiting on them to make an m20 pro hopefully with either dual motors to match the dual batteries or they increase the wattage of the motor and controller.
Would be awesome with dual motors 👍
@@baconbuttties yep that would be a big upgrade, the normal m20 feels underpowered I've got a friend who bought one after they watched your review and they're looking to upgrade it with more power because the frame is lovely.
@@JudeTheCZcamsPoopersubscribe 👍
It is indeed a beast but try getting parts like spare parts
Have you tried?
Do you have seen any Water Damage on any of your E Bikes (engwe m20) Head Light Holes.....
Sorry my English is not the best😇
MFG Steve from Austria (in A you can drive any E Bike upto 750watts)
Thx Mr. friendly Gentleman , Ceers🍺
I don't ride in the rain
@@baconbuttties Ok thx.
Today i have got a Box with a Engwe m20 inside. I try to make it Waterproof. And a new/other big Seat, because i am tall.
Have a nice Day Mr friendly Gentleman
Hi. What is your height? Suitable for height 183 cm?
My height is 178 cm. Its Perfect for 183 cm
gday! is illegal not used pedal too! i have problem with this e-bike with that shitti shimano gear! not work at all
Have you adjusted the derailleur?
@@baconbuttties yeah but see not work,i contact assistent and after that i go in repair center for understand if the gear is broken or not
Is this ebike too big for someone 1m60 tall?
Minimum Saddle Height is
90CM, so it's probably a bit tall for a 1.6m person
Or Change the seat post.. probably a fairly inexpensive part. To get the saddle 10cm down
Looks like a nice bike but man those disc's are massive, 180cm... 😂
The Law regarding the throttle in the UK is ridiculous, some cities allow the escooter to be ridden in the public road and the only way for them to move is a throttle, I really don't know why an ebike has to be different.
Most ebikes get 160 cm , 180 is an improvement...UK ebike law needs updating
@baconbuttties 203mm on my engine x and they're plenty good enough now they've bedded in. might stick a 180mm on the back. got a 10ah battery on the back as it was quite cheap. got a short clip of that on my channel, I ain't no pro tuber like you lol.
@@baconbuttties on the vid you said 180cm lol but I knew what you meant 🤣🤣🤣
@@Old_Man_Pete HOHOH it would be huge
@@simonjohnhinton1938 20mm front and 180mm rear is a good set up.
I think engwe and other Chinese ebike manufacturers are going to be investigated for false advertising as regards to the power outputs. It doesn't take much to work out the max power of your bike if you multiply the voltage by how many amps the controller has. For example my engine x 48v x 18amps is about 864watts peak power.
Do you know of any ebikes that are actually 250 watt at peak power?
👍
@@baconbuttties probably none of them lol. The British manufacturers seem to be legit. My old dear has an e-venture step thru which has a 36v 10ah 250w setup which I repaired the lcd display. I even had a go on it to make sure of the repair and pulls like a 250w should😆.
@@mozzjones6943 👍👍
exactly it is about continious and not about peak.......most motors can maybe reach 2000 and more but this will cause damage somewhere lol @@mozzjones6943
I eoud get there quicker if I walked that's not a ebike not at that speed to slow what is top speed 😅
You must walk really fast......😮
@@baconbuttties how fast is bike 28mph if you were going up. Hill and mph was 7to12moh top speed must 28mph
@@colinwhite144 Bike comes locked at 15.5mph ...You have unlock bike for 28 mph
there a legal ebikes and there are Speed Pedelecs...the last one can not ride on bycicle paths, need insurance, be registered, helmet
20 mph is not the legal speed, it is 15.5mph in UK for riding on roads.
I said 15.5mph in the video
