Purple Hybrid Mattress Review | Restore vs Premier (NEW). Owen, a certified sleep science coach, discusses our new comparison of the Purple Restore mattress vs the Purple Restore Premier mattress. Both are hybrid mattresses made by the popular bed in a box brand, Purple. Purple recently came out with two new lines of Purple beds, the Premium collection and the Luxe collection. The Premium collection has the Purple Restore, Purple RestorePlus and the Purple RestorePremier mattress. As for this video, Owen touches on the mattress policies offered with the Premium collection which includes free shipping, white glove delivery, a sleep trial, returns and a warranty. He also covers the construction of the mattress, how they feel and their firmnesses, and what sleeper type would be best for either bed (back sleepers, side sleepers, stomach sleepers and combination sleepers). Owen also discusses which body types (petite, medium and heavy) would enjoy these mattresses. The RestorePremier is the softest mattress model within the Luxe collection. You hit the nail on the head with the concave odd position the mattress puts you in. 3 nights in and I can’t take anymore.
I just purchased the Restore Premier and it gets delivered next week. As primarily a side sleeper, the softness difference was significant! We'll see how I like it after a few months!
Which version did you go with (soft/firm)?
@@ShBane12 I went with the soft because I'm a side sleeper. If you get the chance to see the firm and soft next to each other in a store, I highly recommend trying them both.
I liked the firm but I’m also a big heavy guy

How does the Restore lineup compare to Hybrid Premier 3/4?
We purchased the restore soft and returned it today as it was super hard. My husband said it felt like sleeping on coils and told me he was going to the couch! We exchanged it for the soft premiere. I will update you as soon as it arrives. A bit of a note that you do not get a “take-two” to ensure the following purple bed exchange works for you.
We have been sleeping on the premier 4 for just under a year and it is the ultimate back killer. Over time the support lags the dips do not support proper alignment. Regretting my purchase every day.
If it is starting to sag, use your warranty! I just did! I'm getting the restore plus next week. They have 10 year warranties for a REASON!!!

Spent 6k for a mattress that sagged in 8 months. They will either send you a another of the same crappy mattress or they rape you to upgrade. What shady business practices. Please do not spend the money on this hype. Trust me! For the money you spend you are not even allowed to speak to a warranty rep directly. They must get so many complaints they restrict you to email. Don't believe me? Google Purple mattress and sagging. Complaints galore. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit.
Sounds like they need to start selling just toppers and cushions.
