The rav4 might be Toyota's bestseller, but for those who want something more affordable and fuel-efficient, the Corolla Cross is a great option.
It competes with the Honda HR-V, Subaru Crosstrek, and Chevrolet Trailblazer.
The Corolla Cross is pretty new, having debuted in 2022. But following Toyota's usual cycle, a refresh might be coming for 2025.
In fact, a tweaked version with a new look, bigger touchscreen, and digital instrument cluster is already out in Thailand!
No official word on the U.S model yet, but updates are likely.
This little SUV is practical, safe, and good on gas. It's cheaper than the RAV4 and offers a good value.
We liked the cargo space, decent ground clearance, and standard driver-assistance features. The steering feels good too!
However, the back seat is a bit cramped, and the engine can be noisy and underpowered.
Highway driving can be loud, and the ride is soft, which isn't great for handling corners.
