Social media has its goods but also it's bad as mentioned. You can be in contact with friends you don't really see in person anymore especially from school etc. I feel though it's a good way for people to show off what they or other people have which then leads to jealousy and envy. Shaitan will find some way to make you think negatively or look at fitnah. One of the reasons that makes me think it's best to delete social media

Alhamdulliah I deleted my social accounts tiktok Snapchat and Twitter,not just to much fitnah these are very time consuming apps.

Ngl I used to use telegram years ago but most if not all of the groups went inactive so I left it. It’s a shame not many people use it anymore because it’s better than instagram in terms of promoting Islamic classes/events.

Guys stop strolling thru social media including youtube and instagram. Wallahi never even lend your eyes to watching movies and webseries. Can any1 point out a single one that does not deal with zina or blatantly promotes haram such as the acts of people of Lot (AS). That's where live weekly naseeha at masjid is compulsory in our times when the fitnah is so spread around. In fact there must be a short naseeha after every fajr salah at the masjid for atleast 10 to 15 min and youth must stick to the act of praying fajr at mosques and listen to the short daily naseeha. Wallah , brothers stay away from movies and musics, stay away from movies and musics, and stay from the filth of movies and musics, and I speak from my experience, turn instead to the kitab of Allah.
Brother, can you make a dedicated video on Music and Musicians. You know, the punishments for both, listening to and making music/being a musician. I think it's a universal issue, that everybody and anybody would benefit from understanding this topic, as its a very neglected subject.
(For example, someone told me that for every second we purposefully listen to music we get sins, and the musician gets all of that sin too; so these millions of streams and videos are basically BILLIONS of sins adding up for the musician).
Those who publicize it, a discussion can be had if they’ve done istixlaal.

I'm a person who has committed a lot of sins in my life and It has gotten to a point where I want to repent but i don't feel remorse in my heart over the sins. What can a person in this situation do? Am I person who is doomed? as the statement of Ibn qayyim "The sinner does not feel any remorse over his sins, that is because his heart is already dead"/Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah.
I think I fall under this situation and I have little hope left, Should I keep on seeking forgiveness from Allah with no regret or should I give up? I feel like everytime i do istighfar it come under ”The repentance of the liars” as the scholars said
Wa Alaykum As Salam Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh , keep on seeking forgiveness no matter what, even if you feel like you don't mean it. Never give up hope in the mercy of Allah, we cannot even imagine how merciful Allah is. Make dua to Allah to rectify you heart. The prophet (May peace be upon him) used to make this dua constantly.
“All the hearts of the offspring of Aadam are between two fingers of Ar-Rahman’s Fingers, as one heart. He turns it (in any direction) as He wills. Then Allaah’s Messenger said, “O Allaah! The Turner of the hearts, turn our heart towards Your obedience.” [Saheeh Muslim vol.4, p.1397, no.6418]
Lasty, you realizing that your heart is in this situation is a mercy from Allah and is a sign that it is alive. May Allah rectify our hearts. Ameen
The fact that u are seeking a solution to this shows that u have some good in your heart and it's not dead yet. Sins hurt the soul brother. Have u ever wondered y why Allah says the sinners only oppress themselves!

He's a narcissistic individual with delusions of grandeur and has the intellectual bandwidth of a lightbulb. Social media has enabled the democratisation of muftihood and the reputation of deen is poorer for it.
