Pigeon shooting (Roost shooting Feb 2021)

- A cracking few hours roost shooting. The total bag was 26 pigeons. This is my favourite kind of shooting. A gun, a bag full of cartridges and a dog, simple. This wood borders an arable farm and a fruit farm so this is pest control for those farms. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

Some nice shots there nick, that 28 bore seems to the job very well, I’ve been thinking of getting one, I do a lot of walked up stuff, be perfect for that, keep em coming mate, take care👍
Cheers mate. 28 bores are great. Personally for walked up I wouldn't tent to use my 28 bore. You will be shooting a lot up stuff up the backside so I prefer to use a 20 bore or 12 to give that added pattern to insure a better kill as you arent shooting at the vitals. Although a 28bore will be nice and light to carry around.

Great video mate really enjoyed it I done a video this week on roost shooting and made some popcorn pegion with the birds I got.

Cheers mate. Yep the strike was fine and never had any problems with other brand if shells. I'll.never buy them again.
Had exactly the same problem with Ely cartridges a few years ago on a driven day when I ran out of RC SIPEs - almost ruined the two driven days.
I've heard lots of bad stories about them. Not good.
Get in touch with customer service at Eley and make a complaint about your cartridges if you get no satisfaction get in touch with Sporting Gun and tell them.
How much do you rate Eley cartridges?
Not very highly. I've lost all confidence with them and I will be glad when I've used up what I have. That's just my opinion.
