- With the announcement of a release date for Dour Candy (7/2/13), billy woods is also leaking an album track, "Tinseltown". The song was the first one that he and Blockhead worked on together. Keys dance and sparkle over a brooding baseline as woods takes you for a ride through the city's seamy underbelly.
From the new billy woods album DOUR CANDY. All songs produced by BLOCKHEAD In stores JULY 2, 2013

Hiding Places Greatest Album
Ever Released
Met this dude years ago at SXSW. He did a free show w/ Akir as the Super Chron Flight Bros. Nicest dude ever, incredibly humble, and inspiring.
"leave it alone! that's it."
yes.
"Optimistic? Every morning between my first sip of coffee, last digit on my scratch off ticket."
My faith in Blockhead's production has been well and truly resorted.
This is my favorite song from Billy wooda
That second verse is godly
Blockhead has got shit locked with this noise, MAD PROPS!!! what a combo!!! BIG!!!!
BLOCKHEAD BLOCKHEAD BLOCKHEAD
woods is beyond raw
Blown away by the small amount of likes/views and comments on these videos. I hope that just means people are just buying the physical albums. Does this mean this music is “underground”? Someone tell me, is this underground?
Backwoodz is all I hear forever

re-play but-tAHHn....I just cant see how that rhymes, I tried
Not bad at all, but I really think Billy Woods should stick with beats like the one from Crocodile Tears. He goes so well with that kind of stuff.
He sounds like he's trying to rap like MF DOOM and is going out of his way to get an uneasy feel to the song
yo dun you couldn't be more wrong,Billy do it for the next, get your mind right.
dude dont overrate mf doom
I don't even see it.
Eridan Amporia I love Doom, but woods is on a totally different level
Zelinc I'm inclined to agree, and I've always loved DOOM. Woods really has grabbed my attention though, and I'm a lot more excited about Billy Woods than I've ever been about DOOM. Maybe it's because Billy is still underground.
DOPE!
