- When you’re a rising star, you pretty much have to give interviews to get your name out in the public (unless you really insist on remaining an enigma), but when you’ve found as much success as Beyoncé, you can pretty much do whatever you want. Plenty of people are obsessed with the pop superstar’s personal life, but she would rather handle rumors in her own way instead of answering the questions of interviewers. She did agree to a Vogue piece that was published in September 2018, but even that was micromanaged by Beyoncé herself.
Let’s take a look at the real reason why Beyoncé stopped giving interviews.

Everybody always says that she can't talk properly but I've never had a problem understanding anything she's said. And not to mention Beyonce is very smart. She knows that the media can't get enough of her so when she throws scraps, everybody leaps for it. That's the genius of never saying anything because when you do others will stop and listen.

Beyoncé is among the few pop artists alongwith MJ (yes, I said it) who were popular AF and deservingly so, because they both were talented and creative. MJ was also kind of shy and his interviews show him as a very humble personality. However, the media juiced out of him and he kept giving his all...not realizing that the assholes he was giving his all to didn't deserve it. Here's where Beyonce took his baton and learnt a great lesson, she needs to take care of herself first. She's a singer songwriter and performer...that's it and that's what she gives to the best of her abilities. She doesn't waste her energy in fake ass interviews devoid of substance and cringy. She will outlive MJ and will carry his legacy forward....in fact, she has been doing so since the late 1990s. Her and Bruno Mars are the queen and king of our generation's pop music, take that and shove it in your burnt asses dear haters!

You don't have to like her or her music... But you can't deny that she is arguably the hardest working woman in showbiz. It's amazing how she's managed to keep a private life all while being a public figure. Let's be clear, you only know what she has allowed you to know. That's dope AF. If a lot of these artists took that approach, their crown would never shift or fall off their heads. Luxury vehicles don't need to advertise for you to come and purchase them... And for that reason alone is why she doesn't do much interviews. This is the same woman that released an album in the middle of the night with no warning or no press about it and the album did big numbers. I can't even knock the hustle man.

However, she is a private person. She wants parts of her life hidden, and we should respect that. You can be outgoing and an extrovert even without telling people details about your life.

This was horribly rude. While I agree Beyoncé isn't the most entertaining or engaging personality and she is very shy in interviews....she has always been decent, modest and always maintained her dignity. She just cannot say things impromptu, she may need help with vocabulary or articulate speaking sometimes....and that's okay and NOT terrible.

Intelligence is relative. I have met a quantum physics professor, who could not hold a simple everyday conversations or know how to do tête-à-tête in a party. I have also met a ballerina who does not know what 'a square root' means but can name the capital of each country in the world... and their location in the world's map! So, tell me again what intelligence is, when Trump is the US president. Beyonce can sing. She can dance. She can perform. Her music is art and she puts her talent, time, hardwork and soul in it. I am not a huge fan but I appreciate her (and other artists such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Nikki Minaj, Adele.. or any other artist on that level - I have no idea what's happening these days , in pop music), contributions to the world of music, especially pop music. You don't need/have to agree or disagree with me. Just know that whatever you think of her (good or bad) will not make her loose a night sleep or affect her fame and music. Now, lemme get back to my own middle-class life ;)

👏 So true. People who are mathematically intelligent usually don't do well with language. I was terrible at writing but I always aced my math classes without studying or trying. I have great spelling but horrible grammar. My writing teachers used to get so frustrated with me. I found that reading does help your grammar though. When I was in my college writing class I was reading the song if ice and fire series and it helped a lot. I barely passed but I got through it. Lol

I'm not her biggest fan and her music isn't to my taste apart from a couple of songs of hers I like but you're right, she's reached superstar status and has a massive loyal fan base so doesn't need to do interviews, she can just release her music and people will buy it. Beyoncé is the only artist in today’s Industry that manages herself and is a owner of her own company while doing so. She’s never been anyone’s puppet regardless of what people say about her “intelligence”, she has done it all and STILL doing it all while being the runner of it all. She’s JUST recently since she’s released her Self-Titled album not to do any interviews (she’s done a few and had docs instead) like the way she’s done it before. She’s been in the industry for over 22 years and she’s tired of letting the media run artists the way they’ve been doing. Beyoncé has since been her OWN exclusive from her pregnancy announcements, marriage, political topics,etc. When has anyone in recent years been their own exclusive without playing media politics to get attention? No one. Beyoncé has pushed the envelope that now has people like Taylor, Drake,etc. doing the same. Beyoncé been in the industry way longer and has more freedom than any of y’all’s favorite artist combined. This she’s “not smart” dig y’all try to do to her is anti-black and racist that also has no background to state. She’s also one of the few artists to have her diploma and did it while having a #1 single with a Grammy, with a song she wrote about independent women all at the age of 18.

R Thomas he’s just recently done it and he’s still pushed by a label, Beyoncé isn’t which is my point. Nor has he been in the industry or has the same media attention she gets.

Bruno came in the business around 2007 no manager and Bruno Mars has a huge fan base! Everyone loves Bruno Mars him and his band put on good performances

I remember when she went through a depressive state during the breakup of the original Destiny's Child members and how she was the target of the media and was blamed for the split of the group. After her solo career, she made a genius move of not giving too much interviews to the press. It's so smart, that people always speculate about the things that she's gonna do and obsess about everything, and she doesn't even have to say a word. What a Queen.
Some people just don't like speaking publicly no matter how talented. Beyonce can do whatever she wants.

I think she doesn’t interview simply because she doesn’t want to. To have a different person ask her the same prying questions, probably a waste of time when she’d rather be productive or doing something else. She doesn’t have to promote herself or her work, she doesn’t want to explain anything that we don’t understand & there isn’t much that she needs to talk about that’s not already out there. I still admire the mystery/privacy some celebrities have since social media has given us such an “intimate” view of them nowadays.
To all of the people copying each other in the comments about how Beyoncé is inarticulate, please give an example of a time she sounded “stupid” or didn’t know how to speak in an interview. If you have such a strong opinion, surely you have strong evidence, right?
