I’m started to just get bootlegs. The real “ authentic “ figures are soooo ridiculously overpriced. What people pay for some of these on the aftermarket are absolutely ridiculous. I’m gonna buy this and a few other bootlegs and give them a shot
I bought this and it’s absolutely amazing. Totally blown away by the quality and the articulation is amazing. What a steal. Looks identical to the 150$ overpriced one.
Now I want one.
May I ask where do I find this and how? I can't seem to find it on eBay
Funny you say, GameStop is having a huge figure sale, got the official 1000 Toys Master Chief Half HALF off, paid 30 bucks for him, and trust me its the real version, but cool to see that the bootleg is almost similar.
@@jobi-wankenobi2244 I moved to europe and it sucks cus of the import prices they never lower things that much. Between that and insane scalpers its hard not to be interested in bootlegs tbh
The overall finish is for sure lower quality than the real one, but I'm curious now to see how they look side by side. Might have to pick one up for comparison.

Ughh i really want the original one..but the price tag is insane
As a person who got both the official and bootleg one, I must say, 150$ for the official isn’t so bad to me after getting the bootleg. Imma point out my comparisons abt it
1. The plastic quality on the official is far superior than of the bootleg (obviously)
2. The waist joint on MY bootleg only has a single joint. Like the grey abdomen part is one solid piece, while on the official it has two separate joints that let the ab crunch be more flexible
3. The tone of green seems lighter tone on the bootleg than the official
4. Weapons have really odd seams that are everywhere
5. Pelvis joints on the bootleg are more spaced out than the official
That’s abt it for me, the only reason I got the bootleg was for the right hand of my official one cause it got loose and messed up. But yeah I’d still save up and get the official one than having to buy the bootleg lol
Is it obvious for the average person that they can tell the difference b/w the boot vs the official?
I would say the original isn’t worth $150 if the right hand got loose and messed up and you had to buy the bootleg to replace the hand. For $150 you shouldn’t be dealing with pieces breaking. Whereas if you pay $25 for a bootleg that looks 95% similar with slightly less articulation and the right hand breaks it’s really not that big of a deal.
Looks good to me for $25 I will be picking one up!
Give it a go mate. Just remember that the QC could be totally random. If yours comes damaged just reach out to the company and get a replacement 😀

Great review mate, tempted to get the knock off one myself! I know Sugo Toys (based in Sydney) has got the official one for $300 which is still a bit pricey but better than nothing
You get what you pay for. Buy this is good to display and never touch, haha! It's worth it for sure!

I got one of these, and the seller included a handwritten thank you letter for buying the figure, as well as a few free stickers.
I finally gave in and bought the real one at my local GameStop. Can't wait for your comparison

Big question! Do the little panels on the back come off? I lost one of the ones on mine and I want to replace it.
I wish someone would just sell the weapons, I'm happy with my Jazwares versions of Chief himself lol
There is a theory that some cheap "knockoffs" are actually factory rejects, made with factory reject parts, or over production on purpose to sell without the higher ups finding out. Cases where workers of the authorized factory making more money on the side.
You can pop the back vents off on the shoulder to put a gun
Damn, if I didnt have two of the Jazwares ones already id absolutely go for the KO. More or less same price, likely same quality as well, but the KO has better articulation. Bicep swivel, the legs are sculpted to actually move outwards, the single jointed knee looks better than the double. Lastly and stupidly one of the best is the double ball jointed torso can actually move... its not shaped and keyed into place to be rigid.
Honestly, I'd give it a go and buy one anyway. It still shocks me, haha.
Jazwares ones are better in my opinion, very durable but also very stiff but that could be a good thing for durability. I also like the gold paint on the visor with Jazwares, more realistic than the 1000toys or K.O. version of it.
Wish the biceps could swivel other than that I like the accessories it came with

Hey I have a question, so on the website when your in the order, there was a button the said confirm receipt so I pressed it,then it said order complete like as in it arrived or whatever,and it hasn’t even gotten here yet so I just wanted to make sure that my order would still be coming if you know anything about that
Hey man. I'm pretty sure it will still be on the way. The receipt part is just your evidence of purchase I'm pretty sure. If it doesn't arrive in a month just open a complaint with the seller. Hope this helped!

Ok i have returned , i ordered 1 7 days ago, just got it and i have to say i somewhat like and am dissapointed at the same time.
First for what is consider a knockoff, its really is a good figure, like probally 60-70%. The weapons and hands are good. I got it for 22$ and the body joints are quite hard.
The thing is, im noticing the part of the lower body and the waist have a huge gap between them, like they didnt finish or cut too short. 2nd is that im not seeing any holder for the weapons on Chiefs back. 3rd is the head. No other knockoff figure have i seen that has this weak of a head, i just rotate his head for less than 180 and the joint breaks. Its like the head joints is made of weak plastic rather than the one on jazwares or maybe K.O mafex figures. I have glued the head back in but probally not able to turn the head more than 45°. Oh yeah and the 117 is painted on the wrong place
Edit : i also forgot, the left leg is longer than the right *
Overally the QC is all over the place. id still recommend getting this figure BUT ONLY for display and only get it for
Ah, dang! I knew that the QC would have been bad. Based on what you have said it sounds like you may have a not so good figure. I'd definitely just leave it as a display piece until you get yourself a real one! Thanks for the comment, man!

I was thinking about taking another chance with another KO chief figure since the unbalance legs mine has. But probally i'll seek modders for this issue, and if lucky, the head issue. I know the qc is a bit lower but does it feel fine to handle extensively?
I can fix the hip if either come apart like it did for you, just checking that otherwise it doesn't feel fragile?
No , do not handle it too hard. I have just reviewed it in a comment . My figure came with a almost broken head joint. The figure is fragile but u dont know which part would come off 1st

I wanted the extra points of articulation but I get really hands on with posing frequently I need something that I won't be scared could break randomly at the slightest movement
@@spawnthegathering169 just mod the jazwares one, from what i have seen with my jazwares figs they still have space to mod. And the joints is much better compare to this Ko figure. You should only buy this for slight display only
@@phongphamnghia3085 yeah the series 1 Master Chief mold is fine by me, it seems to articulate the best too? (Kinda)
The series 2 Chief is just the same but with better qc and paint application so it'll work for what I want after a few mods
I'd definitely advise to be careful! It's a good display piece. Not a good play piece. You get what you pay for.

Pretty surprise to so much loose, it's probably good alternative for on people spend on budget.
Also it's doesn't look like different with original with price take $100+
This knock off is good for me to give a custom paint job like painting it to look like Agent Washington. I wish someone would just knock off the CE Master Chief 1000toys figure
fyi I accidentally picked up one of these fake ones cause the dude was selling it cheap. I have the real one vs the fake one so I can give you guys a good comparison.
The original one just overall looks far far far sharper. This one I had to double check and cause the paint app and details felt worse than the mcfarlane one.
Overall get this if you want to make a custom battle one but get the original if you want a definitive one that looks amazing. This does not compare well.
How's the quality of the plastic? Does it have any peculiar smell? Are the joints any brittle? Thanks for covering this!
The plastic feels okay. As for the smell, I'm not sure. I will give it a wiff when I get home, haha!

@@allthingshalo9388 Really enjoyed the video! Someone told me elsewhere that bootlegs typically have low quality, toxic smelling plastic. I'm most curious if those qualities apply to this otherwise decent looking knock off.
(Also, compared to say, a spartan collection figure, how much worse is the KO's plastic?)

Has a plastic smell, yes. Not too powerful. Just enough to smell it. Hope this helps! Compared to the SC figures, this think holds its ground well but it's not genuine and there could be QC issues.

I think I just bought a fake on eBay. Mine is missing the numerical decal on the chest 🤦🏻♂️ I should have paid more attention to

Is there a way to differentiate the bootleg from the real one without taking it out? I am concerned of getting one buying the exclusive edition on ebay.

Print quality of the display box. 1000Toys have a good quality box and clearer pictures.
Bootleg has a grainy print on the box but also, the price. If it seems too good to be true...then it in fact may be.

Also there's the color difference. The real one is more of a lime green as opposed to the olive green of the bootleg
I just received mine from Aliexpress as well and had the same thing happen with the leg part, was the same leg as well

It's different from the Spartan collection. A different style. Still a beautiful piece but I think it's like playing Russian roulette. If you want one just to display then buy it. Just remember that the QC is low. 😀

I will not buy the og master chief when this figure exists, its just the same as the og but cheaper and has a small chance of having one of its limbs to be severed but i will still buy this knockoff since its the same as the og just a bit bad, i would not buy the og when i could get one that looks the same for a cheaper price
The Quality is Comparable to the Jazware Halo Toys. I have the mantis and its very Poorly made as ont the legs on the mantis is not straight this seems better than the same scale Masterchief.

Yeah I have the real one and it is leaps and bounds better than this cheap one but I gotta give it to them its quiet unnoticeable to the naked eye

This fake bootleg figure is nothing like the real thing, well, it almost is, but the real figure is infinitely better than this cheap waste of plastic, I'm have the real 1000Toys Master Chief, and the real RE-Edit Chief doesn't come with the shock rifle, only the PX Exclusive does, and the PX Exclusive comes with a bloodblade. This fake figure is nowhere near as good as the real figure, the real thing actually has premium quality plastic with diecast feet and knees, which is pretty dope, because it makes the figure nice a sturdy
