That machine is every low rollers dream to be able to bet $2 a spin and stay on it for that long earning points.
Red counter goes up every 45 spins, green goes up every 120 spins, and blue goes up every 500. Settings may vary slightly based on casino choice. Just fyi to be prepared if you're chasing it to 15. Game is also cloned as a Triple Double Diamond variation that works exactly the same way.
The longest I’v stayed at a machine was 3 hrs at NY NY. When my wife got hungry she just left to grab food. I ended up getting a tier upgrade that night and I started with only $40. Good lord, that red bonus was an absolute curse! Well done persisting and keeping with it for the content! Every time that darn machine started shaking and the bonus reels started rolling, I was yelling "BLUE! BLUUUUEEE!!" at my monitor. "Not again..." Ruby whimpered, locked in a hostage situation with a slot machine, literally starving to death, no mimosas in sight for nearly an hour! I was dying, poor Ruby! Hey ruby just be aware when u play games that constantly give low line hits, that the bonus or free games on these types of machines will pay less than games you dont get much line hits, because all the money being paid out is in small amounts instead of larger free game payouts on higher volatillity machines
Actually, the higher the volatility, the more you can make on the bonus. However, that doesn't happen often. On the high volatility games, you get a lot of small line hits, sometimes only a few pennies. On the bonus rounds, you can make a lot of money, or very little money. My biggest win on Dragon Links was $2940.00 on a$5 bet, $1 denom. I hit the bonus yesterday on the same game and didn't win anything during the bonus, not even one penny.
On lower volatility games. You don't get many line hits but when you do. They are normal bigger then your bet. You also have a much better chance of getting a handpay on old style three reel games.
Because you mentioned volatility, you must know a little something about slots. Most people don't know anything about volatility.

When it comes to luck. You need to be lucky enough to play the right game at the right time. There is no skill in playing slots. There is a scammer who charges $1800.⁰⁰ for him to tell you what game to play. He says he can tell when a slot machine is about to hit. All slots use a RNG (random number generator) everytime you press the spin button. It is totally and completely 100% impossible to know when a slot machine is about to payout.

Those "must pay out by" graphics are nothing. they are lures, that's all. The machine isn't "trying" to do anything, it doesn't "want" you to quit, it's not "hot", and it's not a scam.
