    Here in this video, I was able to film the immigration area and the waiting was not that long.

    Although T4 is the poor relation at Heathrow it’s one advantage is that it’s usually less crowded and therefore quicker to get through both arriving and departing. T3 for instances seems permanently crowded.

    Hey, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm curious if individuals holding an EU passport can still utilize the e-gates for quick scanning and bypassing the immigration queue when using Express Parking.

      Hi there, yes that is correct. You don't need to queue, you can utilise the e-gate and even you accidentally queue in the non EU or British passport, there are plenty of airport guides/personnel that would approach you and tell you to use the e-gate.

    Go to underground, tap your credit card. Piccadilly Line stop at station you might get off on one. Then tap your card.

    hey man, thanks for share your experience. I wonder if who carry a EU passport still are able to use the egates do scan and pass through without face the immigration line.

      Thanks for your question Bruno, Yes, the nationals of an EU country, Australia, Canada, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland or the USA can use the Egates at any airports in the UK.

    I’m puzzled by all the face masks. Last May and again in August I used Heathrow arriving and departing, no mandatory masks and hardly anyone, including myself were using them? When was this filmed?

    Hello, we have a trip to London during Christmas. Our flight will land at Gatwick, do you know how long does it take to get pass the border control and baggage claim?

      Hello Eric, it will take a minimum of one hour to one and a half hours to get through because of the Christmas rush as well. Have a safe trip and enjoy your Holidays.

      Will it be crowded at airport on 20th, December because by my opinion Christmas holiday in England starts at 24th, December right?

    After baggage claim if i have to travel to another terminal 2 or 3 then can I make use of trains connecting terminals?

      @@Bachling1 Thank you actually i land at terminal 4 and then i have to reach at central bus station which is at terminal 2. So moving across airport with trolley full of luggage on the train seems difficult and i was doubtfull if i can take the trolley in thw train

      Thanks Denise, it really depends on the influx of passengers from different airlines, based on my experience it takes around half an hour is the fastest and 1.5 hours is the longest.

      @5:48 this line s for immigration, filming or taking video is not allowed. After immigration , and in case you do not have luggage , you just have to follow the exit sign, it is after the custom area.. Once you pass by the custom (wether you have or no goods to declare) that is already the exit area and you can leave T4 .

    Do you need transit visa while catching flight from T4 to T5 or while in transit from T4 to T5 do you go through border control ... 3hour layover and will bot be going out of Airport?

      If you are not leaving the airport LHR and just changing terminals then you do not need a transit visa. Usually, you will just stay at the airport for a 3 hour layover.

      @@roevasantjrroevasantjr2907 I would recommend that it is better for you to check with the airlines you are flying. I assume that you are flying with British Airways, better check with them but as per my experience, if you are changing terminals at Heathrow , you would need a transit visa unless your airlines will assure you that you will be eligible to Direct Air side transit where you will just be staying in the international area without passing through UK immigration.. To avoid inconvenience, it is better for you to apply for a UK transit visa at the UK Embassy or Consulate.

      Some airline will announce the baggage reclaim for your flight or after the immigration at 5:52, it shows here the baggage reclaim signs, either you turn left or right it will lead you to all the luggage carousels or baggage belts where you will find some tv screens like here at 6:47, on the screen, it will show your airline, flight number, departure city and then the baggage reclaim number.

    Hi Bach. My flight arrives at Heathrow terminal 4 at 1715 and I want to catch a 1930 bus to Manchester from Heathrow's Central Bus Sation. Will 2 hours 15 minutes be enough to go through immigration, reclaim baggage, transfer to Central Bus Station and catch the bus?

      That's going to be a very tight connection. Hope you won't take much time at the immigration so you can catch your flight. Is there an option on your ticket that you can take the next bus, in case you miss it?

      @@jessicabarreraislas6693 Not very long. I would have made it in 2 hours. What took some time was getting to the front of the line at immigration (roughly 1 hour 15mins in my case), but everything after that didn't take longer than 45 minutes.

    hi, i will travelling with infant in early december this year. is there any priority line at the immigration?

      Nothing that I am aware of right now but I have seen family with kids and infants passed through immigration queue quickly especially when it is crowded. Usually the airport staff are the one allowing them or you can ask one of them before you go to the queue so they will put you and your family next in line to the next available immigration officer.

      Yes that is correct. There will be a fast track lane for business class passengers. One of the perks of having a business class ticket.

    What are the necessary questions to be asked for those coming with Working visa

      Questions will be the same like, what is the purpose of your coming to the UK, then when you answered, I will be working here, then the immigration officer will check your working visa and all the questions will be related to your employment. What will be your work? Your company, your accommodation and may ask for related documents. You have to prove to the officer the legitimacy and authenticity of your documents. When the officer is satisfied with your answers then your passport will get the entry stamp. Good luck on your journey. Keep safe always.

      Oh basically they would ask what is the purpose of your visit, ( I am here as a tourist, visit my friends, visit my family, shopping) ; how many days you will stay in London (sometimes they would ask you to show them your return ticket), where are you going to stay (they would ask you the hotel booking, if you are staying in the hotel, if friend's place, then they will ask the address and contact number). Those are the usual questions. Hope I was able to help you.

      ​ @Binte Zahid if you are coming to London or UK as English Language Student, they usually ask everything about it e.g. name of the school, your accommodation, will you be staying with an English family, how many months or years to finish your course, who is financing your education something like that. Whatever you wrote in your visa application form or your answer during your interview (I assume you already have a student visa) should be the same.

      It really depends on the time and flight. There are times that it only takes 15 minutes and there are times that takes more than an hour. When you arrive with many different airlines or carriers and it is full load then expect a long queue and more wIitng time for the immigration. But usually, you must allow 30 minutes to one hour from your arrival at the gate to the airport exit. Hope my explanation helps.       Hello there, you don't need to be nervous as you have legal documents. They will only ask information related to your application, example, what is the purpose of your visit, how many days will you stay, where are you going to stay, you will be asked to provide supporting documents like return ticket or hotel reservation.     Terminal 4 Heathrow baggage reclaim, damaged suitcases desk , after 2 long flights tues 19th sept 23, one of our cases was damaged , the small desk dealing with damage suitcases were unhelpfull ,very rude and Arrogant ,a Dark Indian chap behind desk came out became aggressive, shouting waving his fingers, and Indian girl behind desk grinning with a smirk on her face, and in a heated discussion threatened that we cant leave ,threatened us calling security, she even said "I dont give a F_ _ _
    We said call security and after a long time the Customer Services Manager came and said they have no rights to hold us and we have to contact Quatar Airline
    These 2 Unproffesional Idiots should be sacked ,they caused us a lot of Stress ,when after 2 long flights, tired we wanted to get home ,they wasted a couple of hours of our time, suitcase was smashed ,cant use again,
    Has anybody else had the same experience , and what stong action can we take

      Oh that is so unfortunate. I hope you were able to take some photos of the luggage and perhaps send an email to Qatar Airways customer service. I don't know if they will take action but there is no harm in trying to let them know what really happened to your luggage.

      @@Bachling1 Dunno - never bothered getting tested. It's impossible to not be carrying all manner of RNA viruses all of the time. These are the most abundant bunch of viruses in the world. The notion of 'the' virus is completely false. We've allowed the establishment to weaponise the most common bunch of viruses in existence.
