The opening against Leafs fans I feel called out- Though it is accurate to how we feel. Though this year under ANY format we would have faced Boston, I think it really isn't accurate to how teams are "power level" wise. Since it is common for place 2 and 3 in a division to be close to each other, often it is a case of a powerhouse knocking out another in round one when in most other formats they wouldn't face. But I also think it is just not quite as 'fresh' feeling. Even ignoring the Atlantic, we see similar match-ups in round one each year, it'd be nice to just have more possibilities, develop new rivalries. It also makes those genuine upsets feel exciting. So NHL, please return to a 1-8 format. Regardless we'll lose round one, but at least our pain will be varied!
Which roster did you download, also what pls do a vid where you experiment with different other formats like 1-16 format, do 8 divisions and enable the wild card round, gives you a 24-team playoff
