you type in 27sin(37)
because you multiply the 27 to the other side, the x is solved for.

why arent you using cah since u need to find x which is infront of the opposing angle?

Because CAH has no "O" for Opposite. You use Cah, when you have Adjacent and Hypotenuse

What if the letter is on the bottom?

Multiply by the letter on both sides so it cancels out of the bottom. Then divide by sin/cos/tan to get x solved for.
