DNA Designs are workers of magic. They make figures better and I wish they never stop being awesome
they will allow Hasbro to do less and less work on these figures because they know they can put out half ass figures and people will still buy them and then by the upgrade kits to fix them.

This kit upgrade was a great one. The axes are great, and the fillers are good. The covers for his truck mode are more like the game version.
This Optimus Prime has so many different upgrades, but it's worth it for the best looking Optimus.
And I'm back for nostalgia.

It's basically the superior option if you don't need or care for the wide axe configuration. Unfortunate that it's long OOP.

I got my copy of the kit a couple weeks ago and I find that the back piece for storing the forearm gets in the way of his head when in alt mode.
Just saw the trailer for Tranformers One. What are your thoughts? I'm sure already your going to watch it.
I just wish someone would do something about his tiny head.
Damm shame this kit will cost me more than the price of the figure. I would be happy if they do a cheaper kit without the Axe.

I can't wait to pick up a copy of this too. With all the different colored versions of the axe. I want to get repaints of prime to go with them. The blue axe would be great for the Ultra Magnus white & blue repaint. And the red & purple axes would be great for the Nemesis Prime(s) repant(s). Depending on wether people prefer the black or purple nemesis prime versions.
Although I feel if they do a purple prime he needs pink and gold detailing with a big purple feathered hat. That way he's Pimpimus Prime with a pimped out gold axe/cane. Now that would be just prime. LOL
but seriously though, does anyone else see a concept art cybertronian Hotrod/Rodimus resculpt/repaint coming out of this mold? It was the first thing that came to mind when I got this figure in hand.

Just made a Lego version of the Axe inspired by this design.
Hm I have third party upgrade parts for this figure just to fill in the gaps of his arms and thighs even his chest on the sides to make it more game accurate just saying. So now gonna buy this dna kit just to finish off this figure.

I don't mind you gluing the arm but it saddens me that given they dont physically hold weapons aside from a few melee weapons it hurts me that it is inaccurate

This kit is awesome, however I hate that you have to have it in order to use his gun normally.
His back is still sadly inaccurate but hey that's not a possible fix so ohwell.

Honestly, the only thing this needed was a proper vehicle mode back cover for the hands, and maybe a better ax... The thigh fillers are fine... Everything else I don't see the purpose in...
