Great job of simplifying a complex subject. Thank you
Awesome explanation. It really is difficult to wrap your mind around what all is going on in front of the beam and learning how to use it to the best of it's abilities.
Yes it is
Thanks man! I was trying to figure this out on my new livescope.
Thank you Sir. My LVS 34 is supposed to be here tomorrow. Got my 93sv UHD mounted and ready. Thanks again fir sharing.
Still waiting on mine
@@The_Garmin_Guru well it came today but nobody home. Fed ex always comes after noon. Well today was 10:15 am. So tomorrow I should get it.
Dang buddy, you're making my old brain work to hard !🤣
Lol
Thanks for answering my question MR Guru. Your the best man!!
Yes sir
Great video! I have notice the calmer and more still you can sit the easier it is to see at distance
100 correct
Great video! I always struggle with seeing my lure. I watched Nick Linder throw to walleyes in 20 ft of water at a distance of 20-30 ft and you could see his lure splash the surface and see it go right to the fish. Perhaps my transducer in forward mode is not set perfectly on the pole. I’m not always convinced it is my settings. When I do see my lure it is just a speck on the screen. Being able to see your lure is key in my opinion in using livescope. I didn’t see a subscribe button on your video. Did I miss something?
Ok, I see what your saying.
I think I'm going to buy one this year when I get my bonus.
Go for it
Good one, explained exactly what I was seeing thanks
I have tons of videos on my channel
Check them out bud
Is it fair to say perspective mode would be better at looking for specific objects sitting on the bottom? In public saftey/recovery we use sonar systems to search for our target. I'm trying to think of which would provide a better image and allow us to cover more ground in our search.
WOW! At 5:35 you blew my mind AGAIN! The display can only portray A SINGLE OBJECT at a particular distance AT THE SAME LEVEL. Understanding the capabilities and also the limitations of LS is the key to mastering it.
When I first started using LS, if the display showed a tree trunk to the right of a fish, I thought the fish was on the left side of the tree. I was fishing to a fish that wasn’t there. LOL. It is natural to think in 3-D. Until we wrap our mind around distance and depth ONLY (in forward mode) we will not be able to fish effectively with LS.
Keep blowing our minds, Randy. And shocking us with the truth.
You talk like a country boy, but there is a lot of mental horsepower in that brain of yours.
Danny
Agreed
Great job appreciate you brother 10 thumbs up
Thanks Billy
Fantastic video, That was forward view", how's the perspective view work? stay safe and FISH-ON MICK N FL HARRIS CHAIN OF LAKES'
Coming later on today
Very good instructional video bro.
Thanks bud
Alsome explanation, and you can draw pretty good.
Thanks Michael
Thanks. Exactly what I needed
Thank you. I invite you to check out the new website it will be fully functional after the first of the year. Www.TheGarminGuru.com
I noticed with my 1222 using 12' rods crappie fishing on bridge pillars, I'll be fishing the left side of the pillar and the screen will show the jig on the right side of the pillar at times and it's confusing at times.
Very good as it always is
Thank you. I invite you to check out the new website it will be fully functional after the first of the year.
Question- why is the baits show the difference side, my buddy bait is to left and my bait is to the right but shows in reverse on the screen, don't understand why, our lines are about a foot apart,
Thanks, I have learned alot, keep up the Fantastic Work,
Greg
There is no left and right on the screen. The bait that is on the left of the screen is closer to the boat and the one on the right is farther from the transducer
I still say the beams too small because Mines mounted on My trolling motor and it's hard to keep structure on the screen without constantly moving that TM to zero the brush back in....they need a larger or least dual beam.
Maybe a dual beam but that brings a whole new set of problems we will have to agree to disagree on this one
Speaking in round numbers, for a 20 degree beam, for every 3ft away the beam width grows 1ft. So 6ft away think 2ft wide. 30 ft away 10ft wide. That's easier for me to calculate in my head on the water!
About a 1/3
Thanks for the explanation. I’m learning.
Thanks matt
Hi Guru,
I have a question.
What would cause my perspective mode to not show anything from 0 to 10 feet.
Thank you!
I have learned so much from your videos.
Thanks again.
Expand a little bud. Ten foot out or in ten foot of water.
Good vid.
Thanks bud
Nice lesson again ! How would that look in down mode ?
Have a video coming this week
Great explanations😉
Ive have used my lvs 34 ice fishing all winter and i find there is a 14” void off the bottom. How do you change this void? Drop lure to bottom and i wont see it on Garmin 95 until a 14” lift off botttom? Thanx
That’s a new one to me
Will the lvs34 work on the transom forward facing
I guess but why would you limit yourself and put a 2k transducer at such risk
you need an easel!
That’s what it is called. 😂
Great explanation. Maybe garmin can design you an easel for your presentations lol.
I wish. Lol
Hey what’s your Instagram I want to dm you. I’ve got a problem with my LiveScope and kept me from head hunting this weekend in a tournament
