These poor filipinos are always wasting their time using fast boats to re-supply that old rusty ship. I've been telling here on my many comments suggesting to PCG or Navy to use transport helicopter 🚁. It would be quicker, faster, and right on the spot for the helicopter to hover above and drop the supplies. Do not use any more fast boats or rubber boats. Use air resources, and let's see if China 🇨🇳 will resort to another military maneuver.
Filipinos used your brain this time to change the tactics. And do it on your own. Because America 🇺🇸 will not act based on the mutual defense treaty unless an "invasion" happens.

They are using planes to drop supplies, but Chinese cost guards take the supply also. There's news about that resupply plane, so don't tell the Philippine navy they are not using their brains.
Things that I don't agreed in buying warship from foreign shipbuilders, it's expensive, design does not conform to strategy / military doctrine of the customer and No urgency. Philippine, (for now) does not need frigates or destroyers, we need missile boats operating in 4-5 ships per squadron guarding our territory and EEZ. The Design will be a Simple 38.61-meter catamaran hull, armed with the most advanced system and weapon, such as CEROS 200 FCR, Kongsberg NSM 1A stealth anti-ship missiles. Spend-Less on Hull, Spend-More money in Weapon and system. The hull will be designed and build in the Philippines, the ship will have a modular and open architecture. The last time I checked, there were about 115 registered shipyards in the Philippines, only fractions can actually assemble and build 50-meters warships. The rest can contribute by manufacturing parts and components to speed-up the constructions. Give our Engineers, technicians and shipbuilders a chance. Politicians already have their chance, they FAILED.

@@user-jn2jo4sv7g Phil. built gunboats (warships) for Spanish and were captured and used by American. 3 were built in the late 1800. You can see the pain in designing warship at that time. Engineers are just using paper and pencil, machining don't have micro-inch tolerances.
Now, powerful computers with software developed for hydrodynamics and ship buildings are available to anyone. In 2018, Philippine built one of the largest container ship in the world 400 meters in length. To compare the Nimitz Class aircraft carrier is 333 meters in length. Again P.N. don't need (for now) destroyers, frigates not even corvettes. What P.N. need are missile boats (simple catamaran-hull) arm with the most modern weapon and system. This missile boats operate in squadron of 4-5 ships.

It's hard to be a Philippine soldier right now because their chain of command including PBBM doesn't want you to fight as a soldier. I pity the soldiers who got hurt previously and recently because their hands are tied for depending themselves. China is using deadly tactics to our soldiers and what they do is just to accept it without retaliation. In the future, no one will enlist in the AFP or even Coast Guard if the instructions for our soldiers are just to accept what the Chinese give them and not retaliate. The AFP should use their special force (martial art experts) to deliver the goods to BRP Sierra Madre in order to depend themselves without using force (if that's what PBBM wants). Or have a BRP ship with helipad to deliver it straight to BRP Sierra Madre to avoid sabotage in the water. Soon BRP Sierra Madre needs to be fixed or a solid structure needs to replace her. We are just delaying the war with China because eventually they will not like us to fix BRP Sierra Madre or even build solid structure there. Once they own whole SCS then they will annex Taiwan on the equation. PBBM, the whole country especially AFP is running out of options here.
You need to decide and the United States asap. For next RP president, it needs to be continued and sustained our WPS mission. Otherwise, we will be insulted by the Chinese for our inconsistent actions in WPS. We need to be UNITED on this issue!

The only way we can at least stand against China’s bullying and aggression is to strengthen our military and coast guard all the more. We cannot rely on international community even US as they are afraid of Beijing in some ways.

The efforts of some ASEAN countries to position theouth China Sea conflict as a case of China-US competition is both dangerous and wrong. It is a case of China wanting to own the entire South China Sea and that will affect the entire ASEAN and all countries that use the South China Sea for trade and commerce passageway.

PH - have a few boats that are especially designed for resupply missions. The body of the boat have spikes meaning ramming is dangerous. Have water cannon capability to counter Chinese aggression. Have strong men capable of teaching China a lesson in case of an physical encounter.

I can even observe the impatience from the face of Ms Karen while asking the questions.
