Brett has a close look at the brand new Futaba 10PX and binds the transmitter with an older receiver as well as the new receiver. He then goes through calibrating the transmitter to set up ready for racing.
Thank you to Futaba Australia for providing the review sample.
The Futaba 10PX 10-Channel 2.4GHz T-FHSS Radio System is a digital proportional RC system that features a super response rate. This transmitter features the F-4G telemetry with a faster response than the T-FHSS SR system. Made for the serious racer, this radio allows for many fine tuned adjustments including gyro mixing, throttle speed, steering speed, dual rate and more! These features and functions give you the needed adjustments for refined performance. This combo includes the Futaba R404SBS receiver for out of the box performance.
The large 4.3" is produced in full color and features a backlit LCD touch screen. The screen is transflective, allowing for excellent indoor and outdoor visibility. For extreme comfortability, the steering wheel may be angled and adjusted. This gives the user the ability to fine tune the fitment of the radio to best suite their driving style. For adaptability, the steering wheel may also be moved to a left-handed position. The switch layout offers precise control over the assigned channel/function.

great video man thanks
You welcome, glad you like it
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne thanks I just got my first aftermarket radio the Futaba 10px and the video help me set it up correctly
Great to hear Oscar. This is a fantastic radio like the previous 7PX still is. Let us know if you have any questions!
OUTSTANDING DEMONSTRATION, MUCH GRADITUDE, INDEED!!!
Thank you for the feedback. Also check out the other 10PX videos, a lot more details.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne Indeed i will, Very well then!!!
Great explanation, Looking at a Futaba T10px with a 404sb-e receiver for 1/8 electric buggy. can that receiver be in the receiver box (Inferno mp10e) with out any communication problems?
For an 1/8 car that will see a lot of vibration and punishment I would recommend using the R404SBS receiver. The unit is more robust and the small antenna offers greater reliability and hardly noticeable when fitted. R404SBS-E is suitable for 1/10 or lightweight electric vehicles.
Nice explanation. I’m currently running an aircraft receiver R20006GS with my 7 pxr in my limitless speed run build. Is that new receiver better reception than that . Thinking of getting the 10px if it’s going to be better all round.
The aircraft receiver should have a longer range however I believe the car receivers would be overall faster and more responsive. The new receivers do offer an improvement in overall speed and response. This radio is obviously fantastic as the 7PX still is. We should receive stock very soon.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne thanks for the reply. I hear what your saying with receiver choice. I wasn’t to concerned about speed with it just being for straight speed runs , more for distance. I have the GYC441 gyro also. And MKS X5 hbl 550 servo. So that combo is super fast , probably to fast for speed runs imo. You do that ( to very good for the car) turn and let go of the remote while car is on a stand and the servo follows the steering bounce. But as we know in the hobby we always want the next best thing out. So I was very interested in the 5g receiver system with the new 10 px . Are you taking pre orders?
I think you also need an SR mode futaba receiver to take advantage of "SR" too, no?
Yes, you are correct. SR capable receivers are required to use the SR mode on the transmitter.
AGFRC has standard size servos that support both Futaba SR and Sanwa SSR.. but the 1/5 servos only support Sanwa SHR.
hi when will they be available? cheers
We believe they will become available in Australia at the end of April.
Hi this use only futaba receivers
Yes, that is correct.
Not a review... This is how to... Binding tutorial.... 🙄🙄
