- Ever considered what would happen if you placed a FV215b 183 in tier eight? Well, luckily for you, or maybe not, the introduction of the Caliban does precisely that. The simplest way to describe this new HESH spamming British heavy tank is meme. Today, I will be showcasing this vehicle to demonstrate how it performs and how I would recommend playing it.

The Caliban reminds of the Conway with the big gun. The Conway has better gun handling, is faster and of course it's a tier 9. But the gameplay and Hesh are similar. I actually prefer the smaller gun on the Conway, it's much easier to be effective with.
HESH on the Conway sucks ass. It never pens for me,and if it does it low rolls a high 600 or 500. Think I did 790 on it one time but the HESH is terrible.
I still prefer the big gun on it compared to the small one,can just knock 600+ on AP and duck back to cover

From watching the footage, you shoot far too much hesh in situations where AP would both hit and penetrate much easier, not to mention it has much higher velocity. Many shots against small heshable areas could have easily have done 500-600 damage with an AP shell, rather than failing to penetrate hesh, or just missing completely

Rammer on this tank brings you half a second faster reload.....you want to make sure you penn the HE....definitely calibrated is the way to go.

Any plans for Su122 - 54? kinda struggle in the tank, very hard to put the dpm to use given its weak armor and nonexistant gun depression
While I am not Fatness, I avg 62% wr and 2K dmg on the SU-122-54, don't go to the frontline at the start AT ALL, do some sniping. Your gun might not be so accurate but the DPM allows it to miss some shells. At the very end of the match it is where this tank shines, it has 5k dpm with adrenaline meaning that a full HP SU 54 will easily 1v1 any leftover heavies/meds. Pressing adrenaline with high-end consumable equipment means you will deal 1.9k dmg in 20 secs, some tanks will only shoot once during that time.
I have constant loss for the last 1 month. Maybe a general problem ? Consistently between 1-8 percent

I think so. But if the object is made of ordinary cloth, I don't think it's possible to move the touch screen because it's too slippery.
I use dust if my thumbs start sweating while gaming.

Smasher ALWAYS gets bottom tier for me and I always face tier VIII. It’s not fun constantly spamming HEAT shells for lower damage.

Basically, the first few (5-10) battles will be easier cuz the matchmaker puts you in an advantage by putting you up against bad players (in "bad" tanks)
After that period, the matchmaker would "judge" your tank based on algorithms giving it a sort of power score.
Smasher being bottom tier more often is because of that MM algorithm. Cuz.. y'know... The Smasher smokes most tier 7's and all tier 6's; so to the matchmaker, suitable opponents are tier 8's. This is WG's way of balancing the tank in battle since they won't nerf the tank's stats out of fear caused by players' outrage.
Anyways, enjoy your few "good" battles in the Caliban, it won't last long XD

Godly mobility , decent aim , Great dpm , kinda no armour . If you just an 50% wr get SQ instead
E6 is just better version of obj 260
To understand this tank I suggest watching HRF stream that was around 3 months ago
I would wait for the auction during late December. It was in the auction last year, the Super Conq was too. It's a bit of a gamble, but you will likely get them cheaper in the auction.

Idk why they didn't make like its in pc like they made this the 183 of tier 8 while it is a heavy. I mean I could see it being busted if it had the pc stats with - 10 gun depression and able of having 350mm on the turret and almost 400mm of effective armor on the upperplate and being an autoreloader of 2 shells being able to smash you for 960. They could downgrade it in blitz by only havin -8 gundepression and having it less about 30-40 mm of turret armor and its fixed imo, yes it would still be powerfull but not what it's is now a 183🤦♂️

GSOR sucks so bad…it’s power to weight ratio is terrible and to do full damage you have to perfectly aim and have opportunity to do so TWICE or you’ll end up splashing.
This tank is way more fun than the GSOR,don’t listen to the other guy

You clearly did poorly in most of these games, even though you're one of the best NA player. I watched some of your other tier 8 gameplay and you were doing insane. In this tank, not so much ( still very good compared to the average player). Just shows how unreliable this tank is. I would bet Caliban has the worst winrate amongst tier 8 premiums 😆 anyway trash tank where rng just dictates your games.

@@hisroyalfatness Did you watch all the vids, NO. He didn't equip the tank correctly, he used refined gun. He was taking snap shots at people all the time. He didn't wait long enough to aim in and didn't account for his slow shell velocity. Is that good enough for you BRUH?
