Hey, do you have any advice on sneezing, coughing, etc.? And also how to handle these things when you're sick? These would be a nice subject for a video, wouldn't they?
Real Men Real Style Saville Row is in London not New York
@@figogaati1064 he says "Saville Row" or in "New York", go back and watch again
Watched this when I was 15, and I recently bought my first grey suit, thanks for all the advice over the years!
Hell yeah man! Progress!!
Grey = Anytime, any day! :D
That's right!
Make a video on grey outfits too😇
Exactly sir
Outfit: Gray denim shirt + red tshirt + dark blue fancy jeans
Outfit style : wear the tshirt inside and wear the shirt across the tshirt
Open the buttons of the shirt showing inner t shirt
Now wear your jeans
Nice video. Great point about the flannel pants.
Gray is badass and it is a color. It goes with basically every dark color-black, blue, green, red, orange-and looks great with jeans.
I’d NEVER wear it with brown or gold.
Love my 3 pairs of gray-nice/casual shoes too. Black can sometimes be too stark, brown is usually too plain and bring and white is ghastly, stark and shows dirt.
Still works!
Watching this video three years on, I find this advice still applies. Gray trousers with blue, navy, or a black blazer is such a staple. One thing I’ll be trying come spring is the white pants with a gray sport coat combo you show here. Thanks for the tips, Antonio.
Grey flannel has been a staple in my wardrobe since I was very young. They are long lasting. I lately priced a pair as my waist seems to be expanding and was rather shocked. My last pair has lasted 18 years but they are essential. Another is the navy blue blazer. Absolutely necessary for every man.
Absolutely love the video! Gray is awesome and I'm so glad to see so many examples of other colors to match it with that I've never thought of before! Thanks and keep it up!
+Jesse Trevino Glad you enjoyed the video. Here are other colors you can match the grey with - www.realmenrealstyle.com/how-to-wear-gray/
It’s great seeing you pair the colors next to each other. Thanks, this is very helpful!
I love grey. I think it is classic. I have an ambition to own a grey summer suit - almost silver. Now i will watch the video..
Antonio, I'd just like to say that I really appreciate what you do for all of us men.
+TheGreenday240 Thank you sir :)
Great video Antonio. Grey goes with everything. It’s classic and always in style. I like how you put the grey items next to each piece to illustrate how grey goes with other colors in your wardrobe!
Gray trousers are a great starting point in versatility. They really allow for more possibilities!
It allows a bit of locking down variables in experimenting. I'm glad to see you cover a video on this!
I couldn't agree more! :) Glad you enjoyed it.
Antonio! Wauw! I LOVE this video! I like the fact that you show us how to match things. Not with pictures but with your own cloths. Makes it feel like a personal stylist is helping me find the right things. Great job!
+yofunforlive Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
i love some good grey. the first pair of dressy raw denim i got was actually a hemp denim in grey, which like you said, is a perfect fit cos it allows you to focus on the unique texture of the hemp, it's much more ropey and soft compared to your typical cotton denim. also went with grey for my first dress trouser, and I love it. brings out the texture so well.
You changed my mind on a lot of things. Your tips are superb!
Definitely changed my opinion. I knew grey had heaps of potential but you summarised it's utility so succinctly. It's great because of how many other items and colours it pairs with successfully. Definitely going to be a starting point for when I reinvent my wardrobe for next year. Thank you!
Awesome! Love this comment.
I love how you include your wardrobe! It gives inspiration
+Danny Gatica Glad you liked it! What's your take on adding grey to your wardrobe?
I really love the look of a black shirt/turtleneck under a grey suit
When you spell gray 2 different ways in the title
Gray is the lighter colored one and grey is the darker colored one😂
@@ayushmaan5988 Thank you so much for clarification!🇷🇺
Where're you originally from?
Cheers.
Thank you good sir! You have me great insight on how to balance grey. Great work.
This came at an interesting time for me. I have prototypes to remake higher quality garments from the 90's and late 2000 as I feel they would be in high demand and trendsetting fashion in align with customer demands for today. I appreciate you taking the time to put these videos together.
I bought a grey wool textured jacket for this winter season it looks great with a black roll neck top, dark jeans and black Chelsea's.
Thank you for this video, it was perfect timing!
Probably the best information here.... About grey i already have grey sports jaket.... U gave me some dressing options for me from my wardrobe which i have never tried but look awsome... Really
I have 5 gray suits, and love them all. My favorite one is a Vitale Barberis Canonico, with very thin mint or pistaccio stripes.
I expanded my clothing style with charcoal grey sweaters, v necks, waffle knit long sleeve crewnecks, and stretch denim. Mixes with black and maroon real well. Hoping to get some grey chukkas soon.
Gray is one of the most versatile and interchangeable colours in my wardrobe! I love the flannels and a gray sports coat or suit jacket is always a go to piece, they just complement anything I wear them with!
+Shaban Ali I completely agree :)
Great video! Typically I thought I could only do grey pants with black shoes...after watching I see a couple pictures of brown shoes paired with grey pants. I dig the look.
It is funny I find this video after adding some grey pants and jacket to my wardrobe. They work fantastic and pair nicely with my more splashy shirts.
Really great advice here! Thank you...
Great video as usual, I have new ideas on what to wear with my grey blazer jacket. I usually wear it with dark blue jeans or my blue dress pants.
+rikei27 Thank you! :)
wawoo... thanks a lot real men real style. i was always being confused about the colour grey.. thanks a lot.
My gray suit is my favorite. Just like you said you can literally match it with anything. I’m also a huge fan of moderate navy.
I've noticed that while I have a lot of casual grey clothing I don't tend to use it as much as my more formal pieces, namely ties and blazers, although this video does remind me that I do have those more casual sweaters, cardigans, and pullovers that I should really be getting more use out of.
as usual, great video Antonio!
I plan my entire wardrobe around Blue, Gray, Black and White. My favorite winter work outfit is a black sport coat with grey trousers and a blue pullover v-neck sweater over a white collared shirt. For variety I'll change it up with a gray sport coat and black pants.
+marpsr I would suggest to aim for color-balanced wardrobe. 1-6% of your wardrobe should have warm colors like red, yellow, burnt orange :)
www.realmenrealstyle.com/color-percentages-wardrobe/
It was very informative and helpful , and surely i will add some greys to my wardrobe. Thankyou very much Antonio
Grey has always been one of my Go-To colors ((the other being blue) I got my first suit this week and its grey too.
This has completely supported me.. Because am in love with the colour grey
I have a couple of herringbone jackets I enjoy wearing with black trousers, but I've been thinking about wearing them with khakis as well. I think you've reaffirmed my decision. Thank you.
great video.. I have 2 gray pants of different shades and 1 sports jacket. I love wearing them with different other colours. cream, blue or anything that looks and feels nice.
Antonio, this video is top notch. I was noding at every single word you said because it was everything that I thought about grey color. Best regards from Romania!
+DCrristi Thank you sir! Cheers Romania.
Hi,
It is very good. It has changed my thought about grey . Now I can use my grey trousers as suggested by you. Thank you- Kacy
Honestly, I love gray. It contrasts my skin tone very well (or so I have been told).
Love my gray trousers! I have a navy sweater and a beige sweater I usually wear them with. As a student, these typically work for me as I don't frequently wear jackets. I do have a tan jacket I could wear them with. They're certainly a workhorse in my wardrobe!
+Nathan Kendall Cool! And the best thing about wearing gray trousers is it will never go out of style.
Made to measure vitale mid-grey flannel is a must. Pure elegance.
Have always loved grey.
Because of your videos I've focused on grey as far as having a sport jacket is concerned. It's at the tailor's now and I definitely want to invest in a set of trousers soon. I love this format as it allows us to see how interchangeable the color is with actual selections rather than just pictures. Thanks, Antonio!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
In prep school the daily uniform was gray slacks, light blue dress shirt, school tie and a dark blue double breasted blazer and brown penny loafers or tassel loafers.
The other day my school had a conference and our teacher wanted us to dress up a bit (I, being I, took that as: dress really nicely for this event). so i wore my black dress slacks, white button-up shirt, gray suit coat (even though I used it as sports coat), and a patterned pink tie. multiple ladies notice and complimented. I felt like I rocked it. Gray is definitely staying in my wardrobe.
Love grey in my outfits. Good vid.
Grey: Black's badass little brother lol
Thanks for the advice. I plan to find jeans and chinos to go with my silver gray Nordstrom's blazer. I will try using my blue and blue and white striped shirts with that same blazer.
I have a grey merino wool cardigan that I wear all the time. It just goes with all my shirts so well.
+Fernando Herrera Nice! A perfect clothing item to wear this season especially if you're layering.
Thanks this helps me a lot to know how to choose clothes for my husband.
I absolutely love gray and agree that it is extremely versatile. I dress in formal business attire daily and my gray slacks are, by far, my favorite pair. I love the fact that I can wear blacks as well as navy with them. I own several sport coats in addition to suits, and my slacks go with nearly everything. As does my favorite knock-around gray tweed fall sport coat (with the old school suede patches on the elbows). Though when I wear it I feel like Sean Connery's character in Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade, I think the timeless style of it and the fact that it goes great with or without a necktie inflates it to my favorite Fall/Winter coat. Another great video, Antonio. Thank you!
+Michael Hamai Thank you for the nice words sir!! Gray is indeed sharp!
Hello Antonio, I'm a portuguese university student and I really love your channel, you really helped me improve my wardrobe and now I' much more confident when I dress sharp. I only have a grey blazer jacket but I really love wearing it.
+Ricardo Matos Thanks for watching my videos - glad to hear that it helped with your confidence on dressing sharp. Cheers Portugal!
Hi Antonio and many thanks for your as-always-awesome-sartorial-input.
Spot-on on your colour combinations for gray pants or trousers. I usually combine them with colours in the lavender, blue or even burgundy range although in order for the latter colour to be successful, it has to be toned down just right with the rest of the accessories and accoutrements. Grey also has the ability to bring out the detail and finesse in the other items we wear. Shoes, shirts etc… Or, as you so well pout it, it does not hog the limelight.
I never considered gray out of favour or out of date. Au contraire, it is a versatile colour that helps you build, diversify and do things just right if you know what you’re doing. Everyone can hide behind black and navy. Working with gray requires a bit more knowledge and finesse.
Thanks for the great advice and for reconfirming that I wasn’t off on the topic.
Regards from up north.
Peter Karahalios
+Peter Karahalios That's true! Well said Peter. :)
i really appreciate the color gray, gray pants and coats really work in my opinion.
The quality of your videos improved tremendously. Good job Antonio!
+Roger Ma Glad you enjoyed it - thank you!
My first suit was a grey suit due to the versatility. This reaffirmed my purchase
I have 3 grey sports jackets and wear them with black or navy blue trousers. Fabulous looking. Without a tie, I like colorful shirts, a pocket square, casual leather shoes and matching belt. I do draw attention and for all the right reasons.
completely agree about gray not being the center of attention, that's why all my over coats are gray and lets me have a lot of room to play with shoes, shirts, suits, and sports jackets. Also sweaters are good in gray, lets you focus on shirt color and pants
+danielnava619 Seconded on the sweaters. Sweaters(over button downs) are a weird place to draw attention to. Especially without a jacket.
+danielnava619 Exactly! Love the fact that you mention that it gives you more room to play with other clothing pieces.
Great video. I prefer the style focused ones over the product focused ones a lot!
+Matthias Y. Reich Thank you for the honest comment :)
Fantastic video! I like grey, but I wasn't sure how to use it effectively, until now!
+Matt M What grey clothing items do you own? Start matching it with your casual style to start.
Another great video antonio! Really learning a lot about men's style via you.
+Kingsizenerd56 Thank you! :)
Grey is my 2nd favorite color, right behind brown. So, naturally I love grey! I have quite a few grey shirts, and used to have some grey shoes before they fell apart. I loved those shoes.
+sfield86 I love grey too. Grey and brown are a perfect color combination.
I completely agree. I utilize Gray regularly, personally.
+Sandra Weston Glad you agree!
Gray follows the KISS rule........great video. Thanks for sharing.
+Jim D Agreed! Good point Jim.
I have a grey suit, a gray blazer, gray chinos. Quite a lot of grey clothing. I think they mix well with all other colours!
love your videos!!! thanks for posting!!
Glad you enjoyed it. You're welcome
Love my gray suit. It pretty much goes with any shirt and I can have a fun tie with jeans and the blazer as well. Also own a light wash Levi's slim fit in grey, which goes with pretty much any shirt in my collection. more recently bought a grey polo, which can be teamed with any of my denims. Great video Antonio!
+Tejus S Great job Tejus! Good clothing choices.
Amazing video Antonio! In my wardrobe I have a gray suit, a gray sweater and a gray polo. Thank you for showing me a lot more ways of using it because i mostly used the gray polo and sweater with a black pair of pants. =)
+Ramiro van Belzen Glad it helped - Deep colors like purple and indigo are best paired with grays for a muted effect.
grey white black has a great combination for loving it
hi, Antonio, I have 4 grey short sleeve shirts, they are casual 3 from 5.11 tactical and 1 from Kuhl, 2 are in storm grey.I also have a traveler sport coat in grey from Eddie bauer, it has a waterproof material. I can wear them alone and also with a sport jacket . And recently bought a medium grey suit from jcpenney michael strahan collection, looks great
stoped at 0:52

agree with you 100%. I would only say i have wery dark grey chinos and i wear them with dark brown brogues and belt, the grey jacket i was menshioning it above with light blue or wine red dress shirt.
actualy i can wear almost any dress shirt and i look good.
have a nice day Antonio!
I already loved grey! Have the flannel trousers, two sweater and one blazer
+Dave Barr Awesome! :)
Gray is my favourite.
light grey trousers in the spring time with a nice brown belt and a white shirt, brown shoes. looks great!
Grey goes with everything, especially for people with blonde/red hair and pale skin, its much better than black.
I wear grey slacks with navy, wine red cardigans, classic look!
+shanecle That's right!
Actually you reinforced my thoughts on the color grey. Great video and pictures of outfits!
Glad to hear that. Thank you Charles! Which of the 4 gray clothing items are you going to start wearing?
+Real Men Real Style I recently bought a great pair of trousers that I want to build nice too combos around. Next will be a nice tailor fit grey jacket!
shirts, polos, jeans, shoes, hats, i use grey in almost every aspect lol. Charcoal and heather grey imo goes great well with my skin tone. its an attractive color, great video Antonio !
+Lenny Roman Great to hear! It's important to coordinate it with your contrast. :)
Excellent job sir ! Perfect guidance ,would love to know how to dress with grey shoe
grey very understated class
You have changed my thoughts about the color grey. I will be adding some grey trousers to my interchangeable wardrobe. the sports coat will have to wait.
+Shakur Butler Great to hear :)
We like your personality and ideas well done.
Gray is the best color in my wardrobe. It matches everything and I can choose to blend in or stand out based on my pocket square or tie.
+john197039 Exactly! I would say go for red or yellow pocket squares/tie.
I love this style of videos more I hope you make more like this on the future.
+DBZ Series I will. Thanks for your feedback.
I always thought a nice 3 piece grey suit looked sharp as hell. It's neutrality, to me, makes the wearer somewhat mysterious. I really agree with you about the solid grey shirts, I have one that I wear if I feel particularly bored. You definitely opened my eyes to the grey jacket or trousers approach though. Now, I'm thinking about picking up a nice grey jacket for myself!
I love gray.
Very informative and useful. It is how to look very decent for men.
love the color gray, i wear my sneakers only in grey since 2 years and i have like 4 or 5 grey zipper hoodies as well as some T-shirts and longsleeves.
Cool! Aim for balance and try wear it with other colors.
Amit from India
Love your content and style
Love Grey it's one of my favorites
Very versatile & blends easily for any occasion 😀
I think grey is a very versatile and balanced colour and goes with most other colours
A henley, a couple of ties and several undershirts. But after watching your video, I'm considering having other pieces. Great tips.
Awesome! Glad it helped :)
Finally some one talking about the power of grey, i have dress down grey shirts charcoal grey v necks grey vans and i love all of those, n i believe grey is a colour that one can combine with pretty much any other colour and it would look fab. Great video Antonio huge fan of your work from mumbai India 😊
+Pulkit Sehgal My thoughts exactly! Cheers India :)
I have a grey v-neck sweater and a sports jacket in grey, also a pair of casual sneakers.
I am wearing a chambray gray short sleeve shirt from Eddie Bauer with my slim fit blue and dark gray t-shirts.
I've got a pair of grey chukkas and a grey button-down, and a grey pair of jeans. I make it a rule never all three in an outfit, especially with the jeans and shirt. I like having contrast, so I wear different-colored pants with shirt and boots, and my jeans can go with everything else in my wardrobe, and I only wear my boots with them when I wear something lighter in shade or color on top.
In all, you've just reinforced and elaborated on what I've already set on myself. :)
Good job! You're doing great :)
I have a dark grey winter coat (for when it's really cold), a grey cardigan, 2 light grey t-shirts and a grey pair of trousers. The greys go with almost anything, though my favourite colour schemes are dark grey and black. Today I'm wearing a black shirt, black tie (breaking the rules a bit, but it's a slim tie and more of a modern business casual look), dark grey cardigan, navy overcoat and black jeans.
The grey and black colour scheme isn't very common, but it isn't loud; it stands out in a subtle yet mysterious way.
Greys and dark colours compliment my style really well since it lends a subtle air of sophistication and mystery to my friendly and playful personality.
+KX5Kat Solid collection of grey clothing pieces. How about adding bright colored pocket squares for accents?
great video!!! it helped so much.
You're welcome! :)
you shouldn't wear a turtle neck that high Antonio
Agreed. I've found that skivvies work better than turtlenecks
@@theempireband343
What's the difference between skivvies and turtleneck?
Brown or green or gray turtle neck
Unless he's staying in a wooden lodge on a skiing holiday in Aspen.
How do you know he is high? His eyes look fine to me.
