Hai everyone,
My mum died today, On August 18th 2019 :(
This has certainly been a difficult, devastating and long day for me, but my mum will always live on in my heart :)
I made this "Have Courage" Disney tribute medley, I got the "Have courage" from my mum's favourite Disney movie, Cinderella.
Why I decided to use each song:
❤️ Waiting For The Lights (Score)
It seemed very fitting to open the medley, also because my mum besides Cinderella really loved Tangled, so I wanted to include Tangled in the medley :)
❤️Healing Incantation
If I could turn back time and "heal what has been hurt" I would do it in a heartbeat, The song just seemed fitting for this, along with adding a little more Tangled :)
❤️Strong
Probably one of my mum's favourite Disney songs, and it's a song that whenever we did karaoke together we would always sing together, so this song reminds me a lot of her, the lyrics also sound a lot like things she would say for example "trust in your heart~"
❤️Aloha 'Oe
I grew up watching Lilo and Stitch as a family, so it has been a part of everyone in my family's favourite movies, and so I wanted to include it, this song seemed most fitting :)
❤️Remember (Score)
The Lion King always reminds me of our WDW holidays, because there was always so much TLK there, and also the song is something I had been listening to all day.
❤️I am (Thamara)
It shows who I have become as a person, which seemed like a lovely addition to the Medley :) I really love the line "I will carry you here in my heart" too!
