Brilliant with #2. The dust collection for a hole. Right on.
That paper releasing sound is so addictive
LOLOL Watch The Langoliers movie 1995 there's a guy that loves ripping paper in it.
Very useful tips. I’ve been doing all the ones you mentioned and more for many years now. I love watching your videos. Keep up the good work. God bless you guys
Thank you so much, you're definitely pro and have great craftsmanship, I've been painting 22 years myself and have luckily got to be mentored by excellent painter's, most of them have retired or moved on, I actually learned the dust pan technique from a lady painter who was phenomenal, usually carry two maskers around with me and especially if I'm doing millwork, I have one masker with quick release tape and my second masker I have just blond tape, of course I use the quick release on walls and ceilings and then I can use the other masker on top of the paper without worrying about ripping texture off and drywall, Lord knows I've had to do unnecessary repairs many times. I also don't pre-tape, I was taught how to run a straight line and I pre-tape tape on top if its crooked or up in corners, I make sure it's not stair stepped because you'll see the millage build up, I make sure it's lined up with my masking, you pull your masking in the end and it lift's the tape at the same time, you're unmasking once , not twice. Thank you so much for everything you do for us. Sincerely Lorenzo gig harbor WA.

Been watching you a while now and really enjoy your channel, AND . . . really enjoy what I'm learning from you! Thank you for what you do and mostly your enthusiasm and pride in your craftmanship of work! You work so clean, consistently, organized, efficient and such a perfectionist . . . definitely what I call "the" PRO! I'm inspired by everything you share so happily! Just turned 60 yrs. old (my profile photo is 17 years younger now), but I'm still heavily doing DIY projects and soon to be doing my first ever repairs and painting on my 23 yr. old 2-story home exterior. I know I've got quite the monstrous project to tackle, but I know I can do it! Your TIPS are definitely very much appreciated my friend. I'm a petite lady, but strong as a mule still, and definitely have the tools, and better than average know-how to tackle any projects I'm willing to learn . . . not the average female for sure. As an artist and multimedia business woman, I not only enjoy your athleticism in your work -- because that is what it truly is, . . . but you also have such a sincere character about you that comes through on camera! ;-) I sure enjoy problem solving and building things too, and really enjoy restoration and preservation of things - - including recycling & repurposing. I have a great appreciation for SKILLS when I see it. ;-) Continued blessings and success in what you do, because it does make a difference to even someone like me who you may never even meet. YOU'RE AWESOME FRIEND!

Ripped 2 perfectly identical lengths of paper while talking without even trying. Beast

You could use 14” paper on the fan blades and tape it to itself, full wrap around. Then u don’t have to worry about pulling paint off the fan, or using green tape.

Diaper or nappy bags are great for spot lights on ceilings before spraying. Pop them down ,pop them in, can be used on sockets and plugs to. Cheap and handy.

That was useful
Okay, the dust catching trick blew my mind. How did I not think of that? 🤣
Good job
Thanks
I'd love to know more about that paint rack in the back(last hack)
I've used the dust collection method But the paper bag was nice. Out of the 20+ years of Painting with my uncles that's the only one I've not seen ! I'm starting my own company [Nxt Generation Taylor Painting]™️ I bid on a 2345 sq ft home and after that was asked to go another from a GC, I've been praying I can hook up with his company and become his painter but anyway, great Channel and a awesome guy It's always worth it to get tips from a fellow painter. Thanks Chris and the PaintLife Crew. God bless
Just ordered 2 paint life shirt keep it up Maine!
Dude thank you for the reviews for tapes. My god I had to get the frog after the blue tape try. Frog tape does come off easy and in long piece and does a crisp perfect line. Thank you

Hey do one on your cabinet door rack and little booth thing in the background
Dollar Tree clear zip lock bag for screws and hooks. 50 in a box for one dollar. Dollar Tree garbage bags for 18 inch roller tray. Roll right up and throw away rather than cleaning Roller pan. Store bags for can lighting, pull down light cover with bag and push back into the ceiling!
Do you remove the plastic guard over the aerated edge on the hand masker?
You are the best painter & talent 100% but if you are from Uk i wanted to learn by you
Chris!! I’ve been watching you for four or five years now and you’ve taught me almost everything I know on how to paint houses.
I’ve watched every tip and trick you have.
This week I sprayed my first set of cabinets. I taped everything off properly and all of the yellow frog tape came off the walls. I don’t think I’m gonna use that anymore.
And even the blue tape that I used on my masking machine, came off once I sprayed the first coat of paint.
Has this ever happened to you or did I do something wrong?
I mean it didn’t all come off but random spots that I taped came up once it was wet.
Help!!
Hi . I am from Algeria 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿 . Although I do not understand English. However, I understand your explanation very well. Because it is a simple and understandable explanation
Thanks and welcome
I like the hack for keeping hardware together nice👍
Hey paint life tv how does trick no 2 work if u tack the tape to the wall and spray the wall won’t it leave a stripe and also wouldn’t it throw the paper up when u go to spray under the rail? Am I missing something or wouldn’t that be a situation where it’s best to take the handrail off the wall?
There's an accessory shoe at the top of the m3000.
Have you ever attached the tack accessory?
Mask-guyver ova hea!
Good stuff! On the railing though dont stick the tape on the wall you can get a line.
That tip was dumb.
Off topic question: Although I haven't tried it yet, could I mix a little wall paint into my spackling/ wallboard compound for filling in holes? Btw, awesome hacks. Love your channel! ✌😎
In sttucco maybe works the trick use caulk fast dry too
Sbr Joe 1111 use chalk
