What is the best tool for blending when drawing with graphite pencil??!?! Watch this BIG TEST of the 6 most used blending tools! What blending tool gets the most stars and which one will FAIL this test! Well - it's all fun and games, but choosing the right blending tool can actually improve your drawings and shading technique.

Which one is your favourite? I will tell you mine in the video after testing all of these fine blending tools! I will also show you in short how to blend graphite pencil with these blending tools. Personally I have used a cotton swab, a qtip, a soft tissue, a makeup brush and my finger before this video, but I must say blending with a piece of cloth positively surprised me!

I like both buds, blending stumps and makeup brushes. But I haven't tried tissue paper and cloth... the finger works, but it's a mess :D

Nice video, I think for control of blending the blending stumps work the best for me. Second, I think the tissue paper works well too as you can put it around your fingers and have good pressure control. I like buying the packet of blending stumps at the art supply store with various sizes. Thanks for posting and sharing this video, I look forward to the next one.

I have found the best blenders are rubber tipped clay tools. They can be washed over and over so they are a one time investment, they work amazingly well!
Interesting. Have you tried my suggestion with a short haired synthetic make up brush? This is my go to ✍🏻

I started using blending stumps a week ago and felt like a professional but it is not up to the mark,i think i have to switch back to tissue paper or buy a make up brush

What is the difference between graphite pencil and charcoal pencil,which is the best for drawing a face??
I searched it up on Google, and It says that charcoal will give you a blacker, more dusty and crumbly experience but with a good black finish while graphite will be more metallic and reflective, and its always going to be gray. (Also from my experience.)
