Hello Guys,
Kabul, The capital city of Afghanistan & also was my first city in Afghanistan. Kabul is totally different from what I have expected. Report after report points out rising civilian casualties in Afghanistan. Insurgents overrun districts and rural areas, forcing people to flee; most of them to the cities. But even in the capital, Kabul, the Taliban (and more recently also the self-declared Islamic State) frequently conduct suicide attacks. News footage from the aftermath of such attacks shows dead bodies lying on debris-strewn streets between severely damaged or destroyed houses. Watching and reading the news, Kabul seems to be more lethal war zone than the city, but the scenario was totally different.

It is forbidden for Muslims to allow any kaafir to enter al-Masjid al-Haraam [in Makkah] and the sacred areas [al-Haram] around it, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Verily, the Mushrikûn (polytheists) are Najasun (impure). So let them not come near Al-Masjid Al-Harâm (at Makkah) after this year” [al-Tawbah 9:28].
With regard to other mosques, some fuqaha’ said that it is permissible because there is nothing to indicate that it is not allowed; others said that it is not permissible, by analogy with al-Masjid al-Haraam.
The correct view is that it is permissible if it serves the interests of sharee’ah or meet a valid need, such as a person hearing something that may invite him to enter Islam, or because he needs to drink water in the mosque, or the like. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) tied up (his prisoner) Thamaamah ibn Athaal al-Hanafi in the mosque before he became Muslim, and the delegations of Thaqeef and the Christians of Najraan stayed in the mosque before they became Muslim. There were many benefits offered by doing this: they could hear the speeches and sermons of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), see people praying and reciting Qur’aan, and other benefits that are gained by those who visit the mosque. (From Fatawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 6/276).
If some kuffaar ask to enter the mosque so that they can see how Muslims pray, so long as they have nothing with them that could make the mosque dirty, and there are no women among them who are dressed in a provocative fashion, or any other reason not to let them in, then there is nothing wrong with allowing them to enter and sit behind the Muslims so they can see how they pray. If we fear that there is someone who may rebuke them (for not praying etc.) without realizing that they are not Muslim, we should point this out to them.

Recently I was reading comments from our Indian brothers and sisters about Afghanistan which was a bit discomforting but I am sure after watching this series will definitely change their minds. As everyone in Kabul has told you that whatever is show in so called NEWS is not true, they just want to sell their tv/shows ALSO I would want to mention that you may need people like Rami for making your trip full of fun and getting as much as you can.
Some comments are given about the history of the country but will honestly tell you that due to lack of information or communication I would say, they were somehow mistranslated to you.
AND while going to Mazar-e-Sharif, I heard you saying that "you are not feeling safe". To let you know that your Afghan brother will take care of you, just move ahead and explore the country. When you weren't given permission to enter Kart-e-Sakhi Mosque (in Kabul), I would say that can be all lack of communication with authorities there. Otherwise you can freely enter the mosque with respect to it's nobility (taking off shoes, having decent and clothes). And brother when next time you are there and it's the month of Ramadan, you don't have to fast. You are free to eat, again the organizers at least can prepare something for you. It's the month of fasting for them not for you LOL.
I will be looking forward to be your host and take you to Band-e-Qargha, Paghman, Kabul Museum, Kabul Zoo and many other beautiful places around the country.

When I was a child and later on young college student in 60 and 70 Afghanistan was a paradise on earth and a very close friend of india.During early morning study I use to hear hindi songs from radio Zahidaan afghanistan.It feel really nostalgic to watch this series.God bless you.
