2019 GT350 DYNO!! Stock vs 93 Tune vs E85 Tune

  • Gus was nice enough to bring us a 100% stock 2019 GT350 for some tuning. This gave us a good opportunity to do some back to back testing. In this video we dyno Gus' car stock, add 93 octane tune, then a JLT and then finish it off with E85! How much did it make?

    Having seen this car and meeting Gus in person was great we shared time and conversation about how fortunate we are to not only have found palm beach dyno but living close enough to have our cars tuned in person, both being returning customers I can say with out a doubt this team is awesome.

    25wheel on e85 is pretty damn good all motor. I have a 68 mustang fuel injected 438windsor 11.5:1 compression with mild solid roller cam, afr 220 heads, super victor efi intake, th400 4k stall 410gears and made 520wheel 457 torque all motor on 93 octane. I am guessing around 545wheel 470 torque on e85. Car is a street car and weighs 3k lbs. I tried more 101 race gas and it definitely pulled harder up top. E85 will for sure make it more powerful. Once you go e85 you never wanna go back. If i can put down 545wheel 470 torque on an all motor street car with mild solid roller cam, i will be happy with that. What's important is the car is fast as fck at only 3k lbs with 4k stall th400.

    For all the people talking about bye bye warranty, not so fast. I have a 17 GT350, with LT's, O/R X Pipe, and a Lund box with a e85 Flex tune. My 17 engine blew do to #3 and #7 rods letting go. Now the dealer ran and said ... NO WARRANTY ! FORD allowed for the tear down and saw that my LT HEADERS and TUNE had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FAILURE. I have a 19 engine now, and my warranty is up July 17th.
    I was told in the forums by many who think and react like people in this thread. Don't be a sheep. Get your own information and get things done for yourself. Understand how your warranty works, and enjoy your vehicle.

    Looks like the JLT Intake is on par with the tuned PBD Stock 350 intake. Altho the testing of the 350 intake still used the paper element filter. If the air filter was upgraded it could change things. I see JLT made approx 6.6hp more than the PBD tuned stock 350 intake which used the stock filter. As for the stock 350 tune JLT made 12HP more up top. If I would of known this before hand I would of just kept my stock 350 intake and got the PBD tune. 498whp JLT and E85 Interesting
    Don’t 2018+ 5.0s with the same mods make around 470whp?
    Really thought the GT350 would make a lot more power

      @GintaPPE1000 Před 4 lety

      The Voodoo is optimized to run 93 octane from the factory, whereas the Coyote is tuned for 87 even though you don’t get full power without 93. Tuning for higher-grade fuels only yields lower gains as a result.

      @coreyrisolvato5288 Před 3 lety +1

      As I understand it from a Ford engineer who worked on the 2020 GT350 and the GT500, the catch cans are only of value if the car spends time on the track and pushes oil around at high lateral Gs (which I hope everyone experiences at least once).

      Gt350 was never designed for just straight line performance. It was designed to hold revs on a road course with a completely different crank compared to the gen 2/3's. Doesnt mean there not fast in a straight line but that wasnt the main design of this car. Better handling, better braking, carbon fiber goodies, etc all of which your not getting on a gt.
