Resident Evil 4 - Paid Request: Unlock The Handcannon

- I was recently contacted via the Resident Evil 4 Speedrunning discord by Jesus Rosario, who was looking to pay someone to unlock the handcannon for him. I suggested using my guides and practicing, as it feels wrong for me to take money from someone for something they can do themselves.
After a couple days, he was still struggling, and someone else who had offered to do it for him was taking far too long. So, I agreed to take on the request for a price.
Jesus, in a surprisingly generous move, paid me double what I asked for and had wanted my efforts livestreamed, however I was not able to do so. Instead, I recorded the runs I played in order to unlock the Handcannon on his account for him.

Después de un par de días, todavía estaba luchando, y otra persona que se había ofrecido a hacerlo por él estaba tardando demasiado. Entonces, acepté aceptar la solicitud de un precio.
Jesús, en un movimiento sorprendentemente generoso, me pagó el doble de lo que pedí y quería que mis esfuerzos se transmitieran en vivo, sin embargo, no pude hacerlo. En cambio, grabé las partidas que jugué para desbloquear el Handcannon en su cuenta para él.

Honestly, your Leon Waterworld tips is what did it for me. Super Salvador was so terrifying until I saw your tips, after that it was (pretty much) smooth sailing.

This is a life saver. Gonna need to practice more though, got the village done, finally reached 70k in the castle after 10 tries only to be riddled by crossbows at the last minute.

It was crazy that castle with Leon was my last one to get 5 stars and Damn it took a min. Waterworld was pretty easy with Leon and Hunk knowing the tips on the chainsaw guy. Thanks!

I remember unlocking handcannon on GC in one session. Took a couple of hours but it was worth it. Too bad it took a damage nerf on the remake.

I really like this kind of high level casual gameplay. World records are fun and all but I think they optimize the fun out of the game a little bit, like I know the combo will never drop, or nothing will ever go severely wrong, and in that sense I think this ends up being more engaging cause the room for error is so much higher. This was a lot of fun to see, great video.

And the combo still drops on WR runs, just that it is intentional and not accidental when it happens.

I see the inventory takes longer to load on PS4, I can see why a lot of people brought up the weapon quick swap from the remake and how annoying it was in the original, definitely less annoying on PC 😆

@@mbrillon765 I've already "mastered" the PS2 version on retroachievements, the emulated version seems about as fast as PC, and it doesn't seem very different from the PS4 black screen using original hardware xD

Nice to see the original back. Might be unpopular opinion but I still prefer the original over the remake. Both excellent games but the original is more fun imo.
Yeah. I prefer the original as well since it has better baseline content. Might change my opinion if the Remake gets more content

Yo lo he logrado en ps2 xbox 360, ps3, pc, en ps4 ya no lo hize por que cuando conseguis la chicago write typing no sirve de nada el cañón
Se nota que disfrutas de jugar los mercenarios ya que hay veces que ya tienes los 60k pero aún así sigues jugando por la diversión

Con tus consejos sobre el mundo acuatico logre superar mi record utilizando a leon y con otros personajes como krauser y wesker que son mejores no lo he logrado superar asi de buenos son tus consejos
