I spent a small fortune on ammo testing testing testing Then I had a brain wave......stick with the JSB KO's and tune, now a happy bunny.. on the lowest power setting it shoots pellets accurately too. Can practice in the back yard with pellets on low power and wack it up to full power for slugs when needed
Good information my friend. When shooting for accuracy I find it best to hand load the projectile it helps with the flyers. Finding the right slug can cost some money but the joy of shooting pcps I think is worth it.
Hi remember me lol i tell you about the Zan's 25 218 they good i got best results on 1000 to 1009 fps i got my reg set a 150bar nice video the Javelings 21 gr work good to blessings my Amigo
I bought several boxes of Zan slugs and they were ok for pest control. But.. After a day tuning the rifle my Impact M3 works best with the JSB 25.39 KO at a speed of 971 fps and the best bit is I can get them cheaper than the Zan. Another point, the packaging for the JSB's is far less than the Zan's huge box
Great to see you try the Zan’s. I’ve always liked the 23gr slugs but do shoot them at 990fps on my m3 impact. I can hit rabbits at 100+ meters with them. I know you are using a different rifle but my feeling is that it needs to push the slugs harder. Can you adjust this to do so?
Have you tried single shot loading to remove any irregularities with the magazine ? Seems odd that alot of the groups have just 1 flier , I've used the 13gr .177 zans In my Brocock since their release - usually when I start getting fliers it means there's problems elsewhere in the gun ( usually reg needs a clean / adjust )
If it's linear, use Stx Superior Heavy with a 30gr cal slug. 22. What is the best speed, and what should be the settings for regulation 1 and 2, master? 🙏🙏
Nope not the mag, it is the barrel, the slug goes in undamaged, there is no snag when loading. Plus I don't get the same flyers with pellets. I can confirm that it is indeed the Twist Rate that is too low 1:30, can't stabilize the slugs, slugs are more sensitive than pellets, pellets' design stabilizes it, but slugs need to spin at a certain speed, too much and it tumbles, too little and you get the flyers or no groupings at all. BRK is busy with the slug barrel, hope to have one soon. 700mm
Nie waarvan ek weet nie, dit gaan baie afhang van die spoed wat jy kan genereer. As jy 22gr teen 860fps tot 950fps kan skiet dan kan jy daai selfde gewig slugs probeer.
BRK's MAX power only pushes 23gr slugs 984fps?? Lots of shooters prefer shooting heavy slugs 40gr (and above in .25) Gun does not put out nearly enough power
He's talking about his hammer spring being on MAX. But he's only got his regulator running at about 145 BAR. The reg can go as high as 200 BAR for faster speeds...up to 70 ft/lbs in .25 and 100 ft/lbs in .30
@@billycuyler3321 Gotcha, I appreciate the feedback thank you for that 70fpe in .25 isnt all that great though for a 41gr Zan that would be only 875 fps I want to get closer to 980-1000.

Nice test. Fascinating that so many Zans shot tight 4 shot groups with a single flyer. Puzzling.
Barrel twist rate too slow... don't get consistent spin stabilizing.

Very inspiring, thank you, greetings from Indonesia, always successful

Baie goeie informasie. Dankie Gert.
Be interesting to see how sub12 performs.
its the brocock mags inconsistent you should try the element objects magazine if you can get them over there they are better
You figure out what makes one shot stray from the group and you will be prince of the air gun world.
When are you going to do 45-50 yard zero out to 100 + yards

Not even going to try with this barrel, i will wait for the 700mm slug barrel to come out.

Brocok has a 1-30 twist.. was never meant to shoot slugs..slugs barrels will come later ..
Nice!
How to be you?
Nice, wish I could get Zan slugs in JHB
Get hold of Ian at Airriflesa.co.za , he has and will ship

Are you loading 5 slugs at a time in the mag?
Either way it's the mag causing the flyers

Ek het n Snowpeak M25 in .22cal en wil graag slugs kry wat sal werk in die geweer. Iemand wat dit al gedoen het?

you very more accurate on other gun you used?
