If you're being serious: This is a remix of Depeche Mode's 1990 original of the same name, _Enjoy The Silence_. The original is pretty cool too, it's not even nearly as cyberpunk though, actually come to think of it, other than the HIM cover, all the other covers are also pretty cool and worth checking out.

Just didn't sound like a remix of the Depeche mode one, but a cover (didn't know about HIM), as in not the same sounds and beats etc. remixed. That's why I reacted, not trying to be funny or pedantic, just curious.

Man it took me too long to find this song again one of my favorite tracks from the movie. People can say what they want about the movie but the music was on point.
It's really sad that people are re-uploading this song except with "Ghost in the Shell Trailer Song" in the title, and they are getting way more views. Ki: Theory, you should do something about this, or maybe add that to your title as well!

As someone who loves deep tones, I absolutely love this version. When they kick it down to that D-Major followed by the long F it just makes my spine tingle.

I found this because of GITS. At first i didn't think it worked with the trailer but after watching it for a million times the moodiness hooked me up and the sounds started intriguing my brain so i had to look the song up, eventually i had to HAVE IT. Spent a few hours just playing it on a loop. I'm usually not an electronic music fan but this has this heaviness and variety in the arrangement that makes it interesting and rich! It fits the lyrics perfectly and brings a different atmosphere to the song, definitely does the original justice. I wish we had more of this heavy electronic sound around than all the EDM that's so on the wave nowadays. It would definitely bring in some variety! It's a great cover and definitely sounds unique!

Few years late, but gotta say this song is absolutely PHENOMENAL. Should have honestly been IN the movie! It's hard to describe, but this song gives the immediate sensation of living in some kind of Cyberpunk world.
Every time I listen I can perfectly picture looking out at the cityscape of a futuristic Tokyo, Hong Kong, or Singapore.
Will forever be one of the songs I immediately associate with that genre, on par with the music from Akira.
