  • I found him crawling up a wall. My walls are textured, and he needs that to grab onto something. I dampened a large paper towel. In case he needed a little moisture. So he was doing his thing.

Eventually they seal themselves inside their case and turn into a moth! Nature is an incredible Mother!

I thought they were little wolly dust balls for a long time until I saw one wiggle out one day. They're pretty cute.

Good lord I just found one crawling up my wall and spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure out what it was. Is leaving him alive going to be my biggest regret once his boys start munching on my clothes?

  • @NudePostingConspiracyTheories

Thank you. This has helped clear up - I have the other kind. Made it clear for me

I just found one of these! I've never seen one before. They're so fascinating! I love when they turn around in their "casing" and pop out the other side of it xD

They feed on animal fibers. So in our homes, that means clothes made of wool, fur, silk, feathers, felt, and leather. These materials contain keratin, a fibrous protein that the larvae of the clothes moth can digest. They leave behind these gross little poop pellets everywhere they go, and damage clothes.
