- Hello, I promised I'd make a video letting you all know where we had disappeared to and this is that video. We want to thank our subscribers/fans followers and newbies for joining us and sticking with us during this change of season. We seem to be getting back on track, however, and making a few videos seems to in the future! I have so many construction videos just waiting me to find the right editing program. I'm hoping to find one that a right fit for me soon! See you in the next one!

Glad your back Wish we could have watched your adventures on building. Suggestion- the sound is hard to listen to. Echoing you need some soft surfaces to absorb the sound and make it easier to hear.
My camera equipment was stolen so no ext mics or such… i was using an old fibrous! lol! I’m not totally unpacked yet so nat still find a camera!

Janie, I just was telling my husband a few weeks back that I hadn't seen one of your videos in a while and he said that I had mentioned that before to him a few months ago when I had him buy a big huge bag of long grain rice. Your videos just stopped coming up on my recommendations, and then all of a sudden today, there was your dry canning video, so I clicked on your channel name so that I could save it to my special file. I'll be glad to go through and see what I have missed over I think nearly three years or more. Glad to have you back. The sound level here was so low, it was difficult to listen to this, even with speakers all the way up.
I had to use my old cameras, my daughter's painter stole all our equipment while I was off wiring the new house. I can not get my Iphone to connect to my PC to download to my videos. I even tried a ext hard drive and photo stick...nothing will connect. Add in my old movie maker is out of commission so I'm trying to learn a new program...I'm trying my 3rd program tonight...but none let me do the effects Movie Maker had. UGH! Thanks for watching!

What have you tried for editing? I've used Kinemaster on cell phones, I found a way to run it on a PC with a keyboard and mouse by using an Android Emulator on PC, and my current software is Microsoft's Clip Champ, Free Version 😂.
Both are easy to use, but you don't get all the cool bells and whistles unless you pay for an upgraded version.
I used ClipChamp for this video but the sound is way off. Like I said above, someone stole all my cameras and mics...lightening...tripods...so I'm starting over with old cameras...with the best sound. That said, it's not the best sound situation. LOL! Thanks...I may have more questions for you!
@@OurLittleHomestead that really hurts... losing things to theft is like one of the few things that really gets me down. Thankfully that is a rare occurrence! We're sorry that happened to y'all! So, anytime I try to narrate a bit in my videos for the last say 6 months, I've actually used a combo of clipchamp and kinemaster. My laptop with clipchamp won't record audio well, so I record myself with my cell phone wth kinemaster and import to the PC and into clipchamp... sound sux so bad still, even if I'm talking directly into the phones mic I sound like I'm far away for some reason . I have assumed its that I need a real mic and not rely on cell phone mic and then 2 editing softwares.

I love it!
Still learning but great and easy features. We’ll see if sound us better. I’m using same camera from 2017 so it should be better!
