MKX is where the heart is. It feels so good to trap your opponent in the corner with 50/50s and frame traps and just beat the shit out of them until they do something about it. If you didn’t know the matchup you just lost. That’s what really made MKX entertaining to me.
You were forced to learn every moveset, have god-like reaction time and be aggressive. I'm glad we got to play this game for 4 years or so, it was worth it
50/50's are bitch tier. I'm glad NRS moved away from them. Learning matchups is still important, but you don't need to shit in the lab and study every move like a test to make sure you know every mix-up. Losing to rock paper scissors was annoying.

SlayTallica DethThrax MK11 still has TONS mixups tho. There isnt many overhead/low mixups, but alot of characters have damn good pressuring tools and if you grab often they will be guessing all game. Have you ever been in the corner against a Jax who knows what he’s doing? You will literally lose your life bar if you guess wrong 3 times.
Geras and Sonya have amazing mixups plus the krushing blow mechanic makes it even more of a mind game because you are looking out for it..
Your reasoning behind not wanting overhead and low mixups doesn’t make sense because this game still has ridiculous pressure options.

Only thing to grind is kombat league cause character depth is already all found. Most characters little details and advanced stuff are already found. Maybe cause we know what to look for or mkx just had much more in store that we didn’t realize.

After mkX it's very hard to get excited about 11. They slowed it down far too much. They may have made a better game in many respects but it just isn't fun to watch imo.

@@tommyvasquezgarcia674 It's similar to Scorpion. Both have advantages over other players. Boon prefers these two. That's why they're always a bit better in MK. If you don't see it? So you're blind. Without the advantage of Ice clone, he would never get it. So he was practically deliberately cheating.
Well sub zero is one of the only characters that have an advantage over smoke. Still sucks to fight them though
