Jemma thank you for your hard work you do on the videos! I'm disabled and yours and your colleagues are my eye's on the world, I live in Dorset so seeing the countryside that is around is fantastic! Andy
Hi Andy, Jemma does a great job and as a Scottish farmer that meets a few lorry drivers she's very skilled, we do have some lady drivers up here as well 👍 Funny enough as a Scot I enjoy seeing the English countryside but pity her on those narrow lanes with lots of cars. I also follow a chap from America, Casey Ladell Cascade Heavy Rescue in Oregon, I love getting to see the Oregon scenery he does his rescues in. He does his off road rescues for free because of his CZcams channel. Nice chap and the countryside might interest you as it does me. All the best 👍 Greetings from Scotland 👍
Thank you! It’s comments like these that really makes these videos worthwhile. Hope you can get out and see it with your own eyes occasionally. We really do live in a beautiful part of the world ☺️
I’m lucky enough to live in the Portland area and you are right it’s a beautiful area and I often see your company trucks on Portland road. Finding your channel while working overseas has been brilliant - keep up the great work!
I work in live entertainment and I’m always really impressed by our truck drivers who manage to get their trucks into very tight spaces in venues etc, you’re right up there with them and a credit to yourself and your company with how you drive and look after your truck, great work!
Engrossed with your Videos Jemma, so interesting to see all the Trials & Tribulations you Truckers face, in keeping the Economy & Supply Chain functional. Your enthusiasm towards your tasks can only be to the benefit of Wains & should not be ignored! Keep up your good work!
Another brilliant video Jemma I used to drive a Guy Invincible with a Cummings engine in …..wait for it in 1971 it’s so fascinating for me to see all your videos and the brilliant stuff you’ve got in your cab 👍👍
Thank you Jemma for the wonderful content you post, I have been watching since the carnival videos, I really enjoy watching your new videos, Especially this video when you went to Portland where I lived years ago and still have family living, keep up the good work
Jemma, I think you’re amazing!! It’s so lovely to see there are true professional drivers on the roads!! Your passion & professionalism shines through!! 👌 Take care and best wishes 🙏
Hi Jemma just found your channel 😊 your a excellent truck driver a credit to your profession and your work is very interesting not as mundane as general haulage keep up the good work 👍
Hi Jemma, Just found your channel. How lovely to see what you get up to. You past my house going to Portland and I see these lorries all the time. Nice to see who actually drives these monsters. Brilliant, thank you
It's good to see you're a tea lover just like me. I always start the day with a cup of hot fruit flavoured tea. This was a smooth day without problems, which is rare I guess. It's great the drivers are usually polite with you and they reverse out of the way when you meet on a narrow road. Which is common in your country. This particular Portland is indeed a very nice location and I can see why you like to go there. Scenic routes are always makes the day funnier. Another fantastic vlog Jemma, you're really good in this genre.
A lovely bit of countryside around there Jemma, no wonder you enjoy driving. Everything seemed to go well for you on that trip, makes a change I'll bet. Enjoyed sharing the day with you thanks. Take care.
Good job we know what you mean when you said 'Go to see the chap so he can sample me' haha. That car was making a hash of that 3 point turn. I must admit i always stand back in awe when watching drivers reversing and thinking it looks hard. But, you make it look so easy
I properly love these video's. I am, probably like many others, a trucker in my head (I even had a birthday present as a lesson in a 40 footer in Honiton). Apart from being away from home each week, I would love that job and having lived in rural locations all my life, love the farming aspect as well.
Great video Jemma, I’ve given up tramping after 30 years or so , those porridge pots were a life saver 🤣, like you say it’s hard to eat healthy on the road , I always cooked in the cab myself , keep up the good work, keep smiling stay safe 😎
As always a great video and god some of those areas are beautiful! I guess that must be one of the best parts of the job but must really test your skills as they are always so awkward! That lady who zoomed around the corner and met you...... her reversing was as quick as her going forward full credit to her 😆!! have a great weekend!
With big engines such as your diesel truck I would encourage all drivers to keep their engine oil level to the max at all times. The oil is a lubricant and it also goes through a heat exchanger to keep the optimum temperature of the engine, so less oil in the system the more the system has to cope with conditions. Also if you are away from the depot so much adding all the fluids to the vehicle should you should have with each vehicle a means of filling the various liquids safely. Regarding the coolant loss that to me shouldn't happen it should always be at the right level if you are constantly having to top it up then there is a slow leak somewhere and would suggest the garage take a look at it.
Hello Jemma, I 'm very pleased to have found your channel. Now subscribed and eager to see more of your videos .By the way, you can also get those good value porridge pots at Lidl, in plain or golden syrup flavour. Very useful on overnight jobs.
2:12 I'd pour the coolant into the bottle and then from the bottle to the reservoir. My back is be so grateful at every time. It takes a bit longer but dodge SSP at £96/week in case of a back sprain when all ligaments are not warmed up yet in the morning... Loved watching you, though. You are so Epic !
Hi Jemma great video i think i saw you turning in to the mill in cullompton when watching trucking with John he was pulling out you were turning in stay safe keep the videos coming 👍👍
Excellent video once again, pretty sure that corner where you said cars always come round quick was on an Ashley Neal road safety video recently, and its breakfast, dinner and tea (I'm Northern) haha.
@@jemmawarren27 Thank you do much Jemma ☺️ They really are absolutely brilliant!! You are a fantastic driver!! Just about to watch your latest vlog, I can’t wait!! Take care 🙏
For some years here in Oz I did a new furniture run in a semi along the NSW South Coast. Heaps of traffic, narrow streets and tourists. I almost lived on Alka Seltzers and ended up in Wollongong hospital with what I thought was a heart attack but was actually only anxiety and traffic stress. The heartburn was from the stress, not from bad eating or curries. In the end I practiced slow and deep breathing like a Yogi, anytime the heartburn hit. Pull over, shut eyes, breath six seconds in, wait a few seconds then six seconds out, for a minute. The heartburn vanished and never came back.
Great video 👍🏻. Im a recently qualified Class 1 driver (last month) and finding it really difficult to get a start due to lack of experience. I’d love to be doing what you’re doing… seems a great job. Anyway, keep up the good work.
I worked in a hot industry and never showered going to work as I was more often than not grotty within an hour at work. Always had a shower before leaving work. I'm binge watching your vlogs with more to come. Cheers Jemma as I do like the narrative as to what you are doing and where your going.
How about using a small funnel, pop it into the top of your empty 2l bottle and tip from the container...at ground level...and then jump up and empty in the bottle contents after removing the cap. Maybe take two up. Just a thought! x 😀😀😀 🙂🙂🙂
Jemma, have you done any videos on spending cold nights in the truck? Also about how you started, right from getting used to how the truck works etc? Any tips and tricks for people thinking about getting into trucking? And how is it being away from home during the week? How is your work-life balance? Thanks! Sam x

I do have one but often forget to switch it on and the switch is on the other side of the cab. We have to have it for quarry work.
