Lulu, I don't know how old you are or which part of Somalia you came from, but yes, there's a thing to pay money after birth. Yibir comes when (usually male) hears the family give birth and asksformoney. It existed in South Somalia. I don't know if they still practice that as I'm not there now, and the world changed.

Hi, there is a lot of truse history missing.1 The first independent somali nation from the British is somaliland 26 June 1960 then the Italian somaliland South 1july 1960 and franch somaliland which is Djibouti 27july 1977.so in a video said independent 1 of July 1960 wrong it' was the North British somaliland 26 June 1960 which known as somaliland than they United with the South 1 July 1960 after 30 years disagreement with South somalia Republic they disaid to poolout of a unity.and declared there sovrent back on 18 May 1991 this why they have 2 different independent day.
