- I believe Hater Hank is what Caleb refers to as the collectors. You can’t tell me you’re not upset about values as they skyrocket when a popular CZcamsr says a game is going to go up.
I’m not here to complain, yet I’m not stopping until us, as a community gets an apology from these guys screwing up the gaming market. Yes values go up and down normally but when someone with 100k followers says a game will be rare, it increases the chances and typically does.
These are my opinions and my thoughts. Just sucks that I feel like my secret is out there. All these mom and pop spots depends on the secrets for their success. Not one secret is left and it hurts!
It is what it is now and I can’t change it! The only thing for me to do, is become Hater Hank, grab as much stuff as I can before I end up buying the same products from RJC on Amazon!

I think I got vids from 4 years ago talking about the gaming market going crazy especially for thrift stores. as a collector, we all will usually trade or sell a game thats a extra for what its worth. youtube has brought light on the subject and people will come out to learn about it. From my understanding that hank guy admits a few times selling on ebay.....for what the game or item sells for.....
Everyone who collects is hater Hank…anyone whom has a problem with what they did to the gaming market, including me.
They won’t even admit that they did affect the gaming market. If one person whom has 1M followers says a game is going to go up, it will make those at least 3/4 of followers go chase that game.
I’m 40 and anyone whom has known me since I was a kid, knows I’ve been trading and hustling video games since then. I never took advantage of it…then all of a sudden some young fools expose the secrets of hunting, tells everyone how to do, and even shows them.
So I figure can’t beat them join them and make it harder, hopefully there ends up being nothing left and everyone is forced to emulate and collect current gen. By that time I’ll already be ahead.

Yup, it's really sad what has happened to the video game market. I had to stop going to goodwill and thrift stores and flea markets and now just dig up what I can from eBay and Gamestop.
Hey like I said, it is what it is…I have no hate cause they are doing something I didn’t think of doing and they’re holding what is left, but a sorry would be nice to the community…or at least admit it…

I still find rare games at goodwill. Its here and there but its there. I still find video games at yard sales all the time and not for ridiculous prices. You just have to look and be at the right place at the right time if you keep trying it will happen. The video game market went up a long time ago way way before any of these new youtubers ive been on youtube since it started i also remember going to goodwillls and getting things for cheap
Been for awhile your right…but still…I feel bad for the kids that don’t have toys…etc just the other day I saw a video of a police officer who went into a goodwill after seeing a homeless girl(young) didn’t have shoes and cut feet. Asked the manager to donate a pair of shoes and they refused…regardless of the resellers telling secrets the companies don’t give a shit about anybody but mr. Benjamin.
@E-Z_Gamerz it's also a situation where everything is going up and everyone wants money and greed runs the streets right now. I don't think many people truly care about others. It's a constant battle for survival

Unfortunately the main reason i dont collect retro is because of how high these prices are. Not only the prices but its literally impossible to find these retro games at garage sales, thrift store or fleets market for cheap because of the competition and all the new resellers that came from these CZcamsrs. Also i dont agree with what PR said about if you hate what they are doing its probably because you arent financially good. Even if i was wealthy, i still wouldnt pay 100 plus dollars for nostalgia lol. Dont agree with that statement that he said but hey to each their own. Ill stick to the switch, 360, Ps3 and Ps5. The EZ way lol
Being unstable financially was the basis of Goodwill‘s existence. Now you go in there and see not just games highly priced but clothes, toys, and nic nacks.
Much respect to you man, I hate to cause controversy. Realistically it is not 100% their faults but it is a high percentage. A nice sorry or even an oops my bad would be nice for the public/small businesses and our collectors community.
And goodwill is greedy, I watched recently a police officer walk into a goodwill and ask for a donation of shoes for a homeless woman and her 19 yr old daughter and they refused. The cop actually bought the shoes and exposed it on CZcams. Look it up.
@@E-Z_Gamerz oh man i gotta see that, yeah its crazy how everything is pretty much raised up in price. I think its fair to say because of the exposure from these CZcamsrs, now the whole world is aware that all these things have value. Because so many people are reselling, every is marked up and now the average person who wants to buy a decent set of clothes from a thrift store is gonna cost them the same had they gone to a regular retailer. Just my opinion though lol.

im a collector 1st and a part time reseller to support my habit Goodwill Sucks in my area Greedy Mofos i blame covid 19 for the games price hikes but yes youtubers has brought a bigger spotlight on value which has hurt the collectors big time.

Ok maybe that is pushing it a little, those are mainly the game companies…yet, if someone can’t find something for 20 and online it is, best be sure if their casual they will be buying it digitally.
And it is far exposed now, it’s too far…long gone…my rant is old news…yet only people who admitted they did effect the market which they didn’t even have to is JRPGLIFE…which was awesome. They said that about a year ago in one of their vids.
