Recently, I have been through a 365-day journey in the rainforest of Vietnam. Using only natural things and primitive skills, I have to create shelter, find food and drinking water for survival. My goal is not simply to survive for 365 days, I also have to create conditions for long-term survival in the forest.

The issue isn't how authentic you make it now. The real issue is that there is a past when you didn't make legit content. So no matter how much effort you put into it now, unless you address those issues, then you will always sit with the guilt that the content was faked. If you choose to ignore it, by all means, good for you. But just understand that you know what you did with a skewed moral compass.

They use heavy machinery and commercial tools and tell you it's hand made with primitive technology. They try to convey a picture of survival and what not but all they do is lie to you. Discovered this channel just now, with this video, and reading the comments confirmed my suspicions. I'm a fan of Primitive Technology, the Australian dude, and this video is the most brazen copy cat rip-off of him I've ever seen. And they didn't even do it well LOLS!
