- SR Bulleid pacific 34046 “Braunton” with The Cotswold Explorer to Worcester Shrub Hill.
The tour began in Peterborough diesel hauled as far as Hanwell Bridge loop where the steam loco (34046 Braunton) awould take over for the run via the Cotswolds to Worcester Shrub Hill. Usually the outward journey comes via Evesham and returns via the Golden Valley through Kemble and Stroud, but todays trip was routed the other way round.
The first shot was captured at Norton Junction with “Braunton” working the late running 1Z46. Because of the late running I wasn’t able to get to Worcester in time to get the turning move. Instead I headed out to Pershore to get to a foot crossing for the returning 1Z48 at speed on single track.

I caught that tour too Luke I caught braunton at wadborough level crossing outside abbotswood junction and it’s been a while since we last catch up with braunton
