That despot was unable to kill all of them, however, as these survivors drastically altered the fate of the entire universe! However...what if things were different? Wow, I wasn’t expecting this video to hit 1k views so fast! Howdy everyone, I’m Professor Chimp and I’ll be continuing this What If series along with other, shorter What If’s for the foreseeable future!
For people asking for more parts, I’m going to be releasing Part 1 for another, new series first before I make a proper Part 1 of “No Saiyans Survive”.
Secondly, I’m currently finishing my last semester of university so I’ll be pretty busy with that and other responsibilities. I’ll try to release videos about once or twice a month but this schedule definitely isn’t set in stone right now.
Thirdly, for people asking about Tarble, I don’t consider Tarble to be canon so I didn’t even consider him in this story. Unless it seems like it would add to the themes presented in the story, I won’t be adding any non-canon characters. By canon, I mean events from the original Dragon Ball, DBZ and DBS series. Sorry to all the Tarble fans out there I didn't even know about.

Wasn't Tarble referenced by Vegeta in Super, making him canon? Battle of Gods and Broly, I think. Not that we know anything canonical about him besides his existence, but still.
Are we ignoring the "Beerus ordered Frieza to destroy the planet" thing? I don't actually think that's a bad change if you meant to, I'm just curious.
All these tips and questions aside, this was great. You put a lot of effort into this and it shows. I subscribed and will be eagerly waiting for Part 1, as well as Part 1 of the next series.
@@CaronDriel that is true, I forgot about Tarble being mentioned in DBS Broly. In any case, he’d still be dead along with the rest of the Saiyans regardless. The premise is “What If No Saiyans Survived” and that means none of them survive, even Tarble.
For the Beerus thing, I’m choosing not to mention anything about it for now because it may or may not end up being discussed much later down the line so I made it vague on purpose

You did great portraying Frieza and Berryblue's relationship here! I love this idea that she's basically Frieza's mother figure and therefore can get away with anything.
The editing, the storytelling, and your narration.
All are amazing, able to make me feel genuinely pissed/sad at Broly's death and Bardock losing his family.

Pelaf rules earth till buu shows up and kills everyone, freza chills out in space, beerus wakes up blows up stuff goes back to sleep, later Zeno erases all the lower level universes
That’s a pretty bleak way for things to turn out plus that wouldn’t make for an interesting story. I’ll definitely be doing things differently than that
I don't think they would have ever obtained enough power to reawaken Majin Buu.

Gohan raising Yamcha makes an appealing story dynamic to me, him being the one to reform the bandit feels a lot more natural to the story, I guess Tien or Krillin could be interesting as well, but Yamcha already knows who Gohan is.

I think you also need to be sufficiently powerful to unlock super saiyan as well, and Bardock probably just wasn't strong enough.
That starting point with gohan and bulma made me think that maybe someone could do a good jrpg with that premise. The gathering of the dragon balls in a world without goku. Well, in an universe without saiyans. It would be like A LOT like a dragon quest game.

I've said it before, no Goku typically means that the plot ends at King Carrot. But with Grandpa Gohan around that could at least allow the plot to continue as far as Pilaf. Problem is, that's basically as far as they can go, with no Great Ape to break out of Pilaf's solar oven there's not much they can do.
So, you still end up with the following:
Pilaf takes over the world with the Dragon Balls. This actually isn't that bad, Pilaf's technically the rightful heir to the position of king of the world anyway and King Furry is a usurper who came to power thanks to the Dragon Balls, and Pilaf only really wanted his office back.
Krillin still goes to train with Roshi, but this time he doesn't have any competition.
The Red Ribbon Army still shows up, but now they're at war with the world government under Pilaf.
Tien and Chaotzu are never redeemed, Tien basically wins the world tournament without much opposition.
Piccolo Daimyo remains trapped in a rice cooker because the Pilaf Gang doesn't go out in search of a "sealed evil in a can".
That also means no Piccolo Jr.
No Saiyans means the entirety of the Saiyan and Frieza sagas don't happen. Frieza either takes over Namek unopposed and becomes immortal, or just doesn't bother, depending on whether he finds out about the Dragon Balls or not.
Gero never sees a need to make super-powered Androids to kill Goku, because Goku doesn't exist. The Androids he does create are a lot weaker and serve both to further Red Ribbon's interests and as planetary defenders as a whole should any aliens decide to show up. Gero still becomes Android 20.
This also means no Cell, because there's no reason for Gero to create Cell in the first place.
Now we get to the Buu saga... and there's zero reason for Babidi to come to Earth, there's just not enough energy. He'd probably go harass the Frieza Force instead.
Beerus still wakes up, as the Oracle Fish's prediction still happens, but when he finds out the Saiyans are gone he just goes about his normal business and then goes back to sleep. If he does ever visit Earth, it would be because of rumors of amazing cuisine on a backwater, relatively primitive planet - it's inevitable that someone from the Galactic Patrol would wind up there eventually even without the Saiyans.
The events of Resurrection F don't happen because Frieza is never killed.
The universal tournament may still happen, as Champa still visits Beerus. But the fighters would be completely different - we're likely looking at a lineup of Frieza, Cold, Dabura, Demigra and Mira - without the absurdly high power levels of Earth's warriors in canon and without Saiyans, Beerus's best options are demons and Frieza's species. Final match likely comes down to Mira vs Hit.
Zamasu never loses a fight to Goku and never gets pushed that last bit over the edge. He remains a normal apprentice Kai, albeit one with a very large chip on his shoulder and a distaste for mortals. Alternatively, MasakoX's "what if Zamasu did nothing wrong" what-if happens instead.
And then Zeno erases 8 of the 12 universes, which likely includes Universe 7 since I doubt Frieza's empire would really make that much of a difference in mortal level with how much of a hellhole it is.
That’s a rather dark and easy way to end this series but I won’t be doing that here. Have some faith in the Earthlings :)

My point is mainly that Goku drives the plot of Dragon Ball so much that if you remove him from the series you kinda have to replace him with another Goku in some way. So much of the series happens because either Goku causes it or it happens in response to something Goku did.

I said this before in another comment, I’ve never considered Tarble to be canon. I’m basing this What If series on the established canon from the original Dragon Ball series all the way to DBS. So, Tarble isn’t canon and Vegeta was an only child

Nice what if, but what about Tarble? Wasn't he exiled due to him being weak? I wonder, did Abo and Cado kill him or was he able to escape? Did Tarble atleast try to use the Oozaru form against them in an attempt to kill Abo and Cado just to die fighting? Besides that, I really liked this what if.
I’ve never considered Tarble to be canon since he only ever appeared in a single special so, for the sake of this story, Tarble isn’t canon and Vegeta is an only child

I would like if the pod of Bardoc where to fall on earth close to Son Gohan . Stunning him as he gets close to the pod and sees a dead body in it. Feeling sad for the person when they gather the dragon balls he could ask who this person was so Shenron could tell him that this was Bardoc etc. and perhaps feeling bad for the poor sayain he and Bulma decide as an act of kindness to bring him back tp life with the dragon balls !

Hmmm... Humans have a lot of pressure on them now, though, humans do have the tools to pull on over in their direction, such as dr. Gero, fortune teller baba, the dragon balls, and the supreme kai and king kai, if these things are used properly they can pull a win. Also, is Bardock getting reincarnated, or maybe he'll be a spirit like Yamoshi? Just spitballing honestly.

What of the Elite Saiyans? How did they fight back?
Well, even in the original story, most of the Saiyans such as the the elites didn’t even have time to fight back. In DBS, it looked like it was only Bardock who fought back. So, no the elites didn’t fight back. Like in the original, they were caught completely off guard
