She for sure is aware that he’s not really aware of his feelings that came from being jealous Tommy really being of liking Eddie. So I foresee her not being surprised at all if they get together. I mean look how many times in the past she’s alluded to Buck crushing on Eddie. lol

I also think it’s interesting that she makes a point to say Eddie’s friend, to me it’s kind of subtle hinting at how they have a lot of things in common and after the feelings comment maybe hinting that he’s subconsciously projecting his feelings for Eddie onto tommy?
I love how Maddie’s comment about figuring things out and sharing those things with Eddie could mean multiple things depending on how the story goes. It could just mean that he figures out he is bisexual and wants to share it with his friend. Or, if Buddie ever becomes a thing, the same quote could refer to Buck figuring out his feelings about Eddie. If the writers did that on purpose as foreshadowing, I absolutely love it. But honestly, Buck and Tommy are super cute, so I am looking forward to their story as well.
