You overlooked the first-person sections in the first SNES Jurassic Park game, and the ability to play as either Alan Grant or a Raptor in both of the Genesis Jurassic Park games. Which were things James Rolfe mentioned in the AVGN episode on Spielberg Games.
"Jurassic Park II for the NES." Want to do a second take on that since it was the Super NES? To progress, you need to go up at the spot in the path where the bush is (as seen in the AVGN's video). You also neglected to show the best part of the Genesis games, the raptor mode. While the games aren't necessarily easy, they're not nearly as hard as you make them out to be.
This whole video wasn't that great. He ignored the first-person levels in the SNES, too, and they were super important for the gameplay. I understand that this channel isn't a review channel and it's all just about a quick laugh. But why not try to find the real funny stuff about games and not just make them up by ignoring important elements of a game?
I like how the AVGN made it into one of your reviews. Some AVGN and IG fans argued with each other, but I never really understood it. Bad games need someone to joke about them.
It was cool to see 1st person perspective on the SNES, but the levels played pretty awful. No strafing, slow turning, and poor animations for the dinosaurs.
Makes me feel happy to see Chris and James collaborating. I remember when people were instigating them to fight just because they were “copying” each other.

The two genesis games were probably my favorite of all the console releases . Always thought being able to play as a raptor was so cool. I don't think John Williams licenses his scores directly. When he's hired by a studio to compose a score, that score then becomes the property of the studio and they tend to license it through a different company, like WMG or UMG or something. That's a very annoying thing about movies and TV, the music is almost always licensed separately so it becomes a hassle when a new release format comes to light. In the case of the video games, I guess Ocean and their development companies were able to license the name Jurassic Park, but not the music that we all recognize.

I actually remember the SNES one fondly. The biggest stick point for me was not realizing that to reboot the systems, you had to actually touch the boot icon on the console!

I like Jurassic Park on SNES due to its potential ......WASTED of course! lol watching the Jurassic Park reviews on your channel brought back alot of flashbacks to a childhood long gone. I loved the Sega Genesis Jurassic Park 1 game. It has plenty of problems, like falling faster than the screen scrolls, weird animations of being thrown and dying, confusing mazes and more. However, it has dinosaurs, a cool intro, ability to play as a raptor and cheat codes like "NYUKNYUK".
Not a bad video, though by rushing so much through these games, you seem to avoid most of their content and after seeing other reviews of them, there was clearly a lot more to talk about both good and bad. Nice cameo of James there, too. I hope we see Chris appear on his show too. NOTE : I don't mind the short length of the video. I was talking about how very little we hear on each game, making it seem like he's just rushing to put in as much as possible at some points. The rest ranges from fine to good.
I don't mind these short quick videos. The fact he's giving us these at all is perfect for me. It makes sense he doesn't spend too much time on them cause we've all already seen everything that's been said about them from avgn and other reviewers
tbh i dont mind the short reviews either, its better than nothing, and im glad he's making content on a regular basis. besides, what looks like just a short review may have taken weeks to write the script, film, edit, it's can be a hastle sometimes lol

That was a cool episode. I like it 👍🏻 In the snes version, you don’t know where to go and what the first mission is. That’s what sucks about the game. It’s like they want you to figure it out yourself unless you read instructions. I never played the Genesis version because I never got Sega Genesis. My favorite part in this episode is when James appeared. That made me happy. 🤘🏻
One problem I have with the Lost World for the genesis is that u don't play as the obvious hero Ian Malcolm aka Jeff Goldblum. U actually play as one of the survivors Roland Tembo which I guess is decent considering he doesn't get eaten...well so far as I know. Playing as the Vince Vaughn character or Sara Harding would've been a step up from that.

I don’t know if this will reach you Chris, but I’d like to say thank you. You were one of the very first CZcamsrs I ever watched, and one of the nicest memories of my entire childhood. I remember laughing so hard to the E.T Atari video you’d made that my sides hurt, and I remember the anticipation of waiting for the next video and checking in near daily to see if there was a new upload. That was back in 5th or 6th grade. I’m in my first year of university now, and stumbled across this video and recognized the name but not fully remembering. A lot of time has passed, a lot of things have changed and happened, but it brings the giddiest smile on my face to see that you’re still doing what you love, and making the same content I grew up smiling about. I can’t wait to show my little brothers your videos and hopefully have them laugh as much as I did. Thank you for all the good memories, truly appreciate you.

I know this is meant to be a quickfire video but I don't feel like you gave any of these games enough of a chance and that's disappointing, because these are all actually pretty good games. It seems like you only played them for about 10 minutes each and gave up. While it was possible you could have rented these games back in the day without access to a manual, it's still a fact that most games back then expected you to read it and these games are no exception. And in this day and age, where you can literally just search for the manuals and find them online, there's no excuse for it. There was also another Jurassic Park game that was released on Amiga and DOS which I hardly ever see mentioned.
Good to see someone saying this. I personally loved the first SNES game and this is probably the first "review" I've seen pretty much universally denouncing all aspects of it. I will always remember how amazed I was the first time I entered a building and was greeted with what was essentially Wolfenstein 3D with dinosaurs, all on an SNES. I personally don't see the point or value in completely trashing 5 games in a row, based on the first 10-15 minutes of gameplay.
Out of all the Jurassic Park games you went over, I've only played the first one on the Gameboy. A Jurassic Park game I think is really good is Chaos Island: The Lost World for the PC.

I always loved the lost World arcade game the most. I spent probably thousands in my entire life on that game because it was so fun. Nothing beats that one. Not the first, Third or anything after.

While Jurassik Park Arcade is indeed awesome, neither of the console games are remotely suck. Most of them are good games, even though with a steep learning curve, some are passable, but certainly nothing really that bad.
Wasn't there a Lost World game on the Mega Drive/Genesis, too? I played it recently and although it also kind of sucks, I feel it's a bit better than most of the other ones. Although, I'm not sure...was it official or a homebrew thing?
Jurassic park 2 snes I've never played it but at the end of it you push up in the space opening between the bushes. It's the same in the sega genesis version
You should make part 4. You've been doing it wrong in the following games. Jurassic Park 2 for SNES - Have you tried to jump down to a giant hole at the first level? Jurassic Park for Sega Genesis - You know you can play as Raptor instead of Grant in this version. At the main menu. Go to "PLAYER" and you can select between Grant and Raptor. Playing as Raptor is more fun then playing as Grant. Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition for Sega Genesis - Same thing as Jurassic Park for Sega Genesis. At the main menu. Go to "PLAYER" and pick Raptor.

I always loved the lost World arcade game the most. I spent probably thousands in my entire life on that game because it was so fun. Nothing beats that one. Not the first, Third or anything after.

the one on genesis with the big level was hard but a good game, had plenty of fun playing it when i was a kid , also there is a second side to the game where you play the raptor instead

While Jurassik Park Arcade is indeed awesome, neither of the console games are remotely suck. Most of them are good games, even though with a steep learning curve, some are passable, but certainly nothing really that bad.

Wasn't there a Lost World game on the Mega Drive/Genesis, too? I played it recently and although it also kind of sucks, I feel it's a bit better than most of the other ones. Although, I'm not sure...was it official or a homebrew thing?
There's a third Jurassic Park game called The Lost World Jurassic Park on Sega Genesis. It's better than the previous two Jurassic Park games.

Jurassic park 2 snes I've never played it but at the end of it you push up in the space opening between the bushes. It's the same in the sega genesis version

Jurassic Park 2 for SNES - Have you tried to jump down to a giant hole at the first level?
Jurassic Park for Sega Genesis - You know you can play as Raptor instead of Grant in this version. At the main menu. Go to "PLAYER" and you can select between Grant and Raptor. Playing as Raptor is more fun then playing as Grant.
Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition for Sega Genesis - Same thing as Jurassic Park for Sega Genesis. At the main menu. Go to "PLAYER" and pick Raptor.
