I only used the leave-in that I showed at the beginning. I try not to layer my hair with too many products when I’m doing a wash n go mainly due to time. Thank you for the suggestions!!!
Finally someone with real 4C hair doing a tutorial. I have this but haven't tried it yet. After seeing your hair which is beautiful, I'll give this a try. My hair looks 4C but when you touch it, it doesn't feel 4C. I don't know what it is but thank you for this video. 😅

Beautiful results! I have never seen your hair this defined. Uncle funky is good as a base gel for our 4c hair. It works better if your hair is clarified first. That way you can have your curl defined and then add another gel like I create hold or Jello shot over the top.
Now Michelke, you gon make me buy Uncle Funky again and try this combo out. I said I wasn’t going to do it 😩. But yes, this definition is crazy. Alikay gave me great definition as well but do something about this gel though 🤔
Hey Dareese girl!!! That ecoslay meant business. It’s over one week and I’m still rocking the same wash n go which stills looks good! You just have to remember that it’s in your fridge. Out of sight, out of mind, you know. Lol 😂

After experiencing breakage due to protein damage from doin too much and wash day really taking all day and just as i was about to just cut it all off I started seeing rumblings of no butters, oils, etc. I finally got rid of most of the protein damage (time and rigorous washing) my simplified process at sryling involves ORS HD clumping gel, it has SEVERE hold. I apply it over to damp (not exessively wet hair as the instructions say) hair atop aloe vera gel/juice (which i use often instead of water). My WNGL-wash and go later can go up to 10 days. I too do not mind the gel cast/crunch nor can i do it in the shower. After i semi dry hair under the dryer i just go about my day/ or night with a bonnet and let the cast wear itself off over the days to come. Im currently on day 3 of my wngl and the cast is almost gone. I work out 4-5 days weekly and i dont shower with a cap. All of that contributes to how fast the cast subsides. I wish i could insert a pic. I am 4z(Zimbabwe) and absolutely love love love my hair!
