all you need to do is to wet one of the corner to let the fabric loose the snap back in the bar; that's how easy it is without scratching & damaging fabric & the frame as well...
Now i know why Marines sleep on the ground! (seriously soliders, lay on the cot for 5mins or use a hairdryer to warm up the nylon...it will stretch. also popping the gray cap on the last corner and inserting a prybar or hardwood handle inside will give you the leverage. i do this by myself......but then again i'm USCG smart LOL!
You’ll never work harder to set up the most uncomfortable cot ever.
I came here to see if there was an easier way to do it than I've been doing. Y'all make it harder though!
How do you do it?

Something tells me yall never been to the field , FTX before if yall have you would setup cots right.
Who would win?
A well trained bunch of soldiers?
Or an army cot?
Idk how many times I've caught my fingers in those putting them together
Sorry but I’m all thumbs👍🏻👍🏻
Like whoa that is the wrong way to do it. Let Signal Corp Unit show yall how to do it right.
