At 13:15 you said that we removed nick from the sudoers file (that is wheel group) but you haven't shown how you did that. I'm aware of 3 methods but it is different in each distro. 1. gpasswd --delete nick wheel 2. usermod -G "" nick (but this will remove all the other groups as well) 3. usermod -rG wheel nick (just as we used usermod -aG wheel nick for adding, simply replace a with r for remove) There are a lot of other ways as well but they are limited to other distributions like debian, fedora, archlinux etc. I would like to know what you used to remove the group. I created group name "maiet" and created user "demo1", after this from my primary account I change the permision of file, I change the group to primary to "maiet" group. Now When I was writing the file even there is a permission for that I was unable to do that.

@@MPrashant Yes Sir, after entering correct password, when I initially login with non root user, I cannot do switch user to root, but if I initially login to root user, then I can switch to non user.

Right, I was focusing on su and sudo concept so didnt cover how to remove the group.
we can use
sudo gpasswd -d nick wheel
