If it were me, I would not be able to take the high road, I would ensure they suffered just like I did. And I would like to see the big guy get what he deserves.
However, I don’t think that it’s the best idea to do that. I think it’s already to a point where we may see this type of stuff happen every 4 years because of what these democrats are doing now. If Trump can avoid being vindictive, maybe that will prevent this type of game in the future, no matter which side is involved.

I don't trust DC juries. Just look at the FBI lawyers that were identified as committing crimes by the inspector General and the special counsel. Those juries acquitted them. One of the jurors daughters played on the same soccer team as the defendant's daughters for years.

How can a judge tell a defendant that they can’t have an expert witness? How is that not bigger news? How is that not something for an interlocutory appeal?

Dershowitz, Turley and McCarthy have sounded reasonable the entire time and have made accurate predictions. I don't want to give them too much credit because that's expected. However, I do appreciate the opportunity to listen to them.

The supreme court was not packed by Donald Trump he had the option to choose three people for the supreme court and they went through the process and they're on the court now . The only President I know who wanted the pack of supreme court was Franklin Delano Roosevelt which a democratic controlled house and senate blocked it.

No. If they remand it to a lower court, it will take longer and will still be appealed if Trump doesn’t like the lower courts decision. I think the Supreme Court is going to say a president has immunity for official acts and let the lower ours take a stab a defining them. Then, when it falls, the case will be back at the Supreme Court, but not before November 2024.
If we let them get away with this, we don't have a country anymore.

Sauer did not concede that the things Trump did were not official acts. He conceded that IF those things occured as the government alleged, they would not be official acts. In that exchange, he stresses that he is not conceding the allegation. That is, if they occured as Trump alleges, then they were official acts. It depends on what motives you choose to believe.
Surprise! Those private acts did take place, and they are all easily provable by multiple witnesses, recorded phone calls, sworn depositions and reams of documentation

The Democratic Party offers policy that is more beneficial to the working class and the poverty stricken. They are still right of center because they are for capitalism. Capitalism isn't terrible if it has checks and balances. In the U.S., it does not. That is why prices are so high, yet corporations are posting record quarterly profits. They then just say it's due to inflation. If it was inflation, they would be breaking even, not profiting in record numbers. The financial gap is ridiculous. The rich get richer while more and more people become poorer and poorer.

Once a person has been elected president he/she should never be tried for anything in any state. I think it would need to be tried in the Supreme Court.
Democrats don’t realize the slippery slope on which they stand. Under a Republican administration there are dozens of democrats who could be indicted.
House and Senate, which happened and they elected not to hold him Guilty, neither should anyone else.
The reason I feel it should be held in the Supreme Court is because the hearing is private...no cameras etc. and less taxpayers cost. And they are all experienced in the law and the government rules and regulations. Just my opinion.

It's not the lower court's job to clean up a badly submitted prosecution! If the prosecution didn't separate out "personal acts" themselves then why should the court do it for them? If they claim that the law is vague then how can Trump be guilty of violating a vague law? It's not the lower court's place to rewrite poorly written laws, it is up to Congress and that is where it needs to be sent ... after Trump is acquitted!

Disagree with McCarthy. It would not be the same in any jurisdiction. If he was tried in a place that was more 50/50 vote it would be a fairer jury pool.
