Nex Duo kill Example | Fang/Crystal armour & Bowfa

I would have asked my friend to copy the setup but we ain't got 200mill spare for crystal atm, this is just an example so you can see the dps and defence of crystal armour with the bowfa on nex.

no1 likes nex, its nightmare 2.0 all you do is sit there an hit the boss while drinking brews. its insanely boring click yellow get loot boss, and you cant really avoid any of the chip damage she does. I did 513 kills at nex on my iron and all i got was ton of supply loss and depression.
Yeah I feel that, in duos so far I’ve had absolutely nothing, we’re you doing big teams or small teams?
Rune cbow and karils is better dps and defense both than crystal and bofa at nex. Please don't go to nex with bofa

Thanks a lot mate, and I think its "Opponent information" on Runelite. I have mine setup to "both", I may be incorrect however I will double check :)
There is also a “health boss” overall on runelite if you try turn that on
Any idea what the gp/hour is for duo nex with max gear?
Apparently around 12/14mill an hour with drops so far probs 100k an hour for me 😂

@@adampark1104 I done 2k in masses and seen a few in my name which was probably where my luck is, now in duos I’ve had none lol. 4-6man teams seems really nice and probably consistent drops too

Thoughts on this setup vs karils and zcb?
Zcb is definitely better however the bowfa is very accurate which works really well too. We found using the fang instead is way more consistent to get the kills as sometimes using zcb we had to tele out on the final phase due to running out of brews. The karils however is really nice either setup
@@Runnerbeans Wanted to try duo with a friend and we both have ZCBs and Fangs. Was going to hybrid with karils, prims, faceguards. I have a bowfa as well so didn’t know if bringing that with Crystal and a fang would be better than ZCB with karils and a fang
@@spritely2158 I would use the fang throughout the kill using karils, and zcb the shadow phase. If you have any specs then send them with the zcb to phase shadow and blood phases as fast as you can, use blood fury for sure though if you have it

Of course mate, the majority of the kill you will be using the fang anyways. It’s only the odd times you have to range that the bow is the most useful, especially shadow phase. Let me know how it goes and if you need any help just let me know

after fang nerf is this still viable?
Yeah for sure mate, it’s basically the same but slightly slower. Then again, rng could make it a sub 10 minute kill or anything up to 13 minutes. The fang nerf to me seems not too noticeable since it’s so accurate :)
Is fang + bowfa better than fang + acb?
I’m not too sure on the calculations with dps and stuff however the bowfa was very accurate however I have tried zcb not acb and the ruby bolt specs do quite a bit of damage over time to yourself, sometimes I would find myself getting to the end of a kill running out of brews. Personally I would try bowfa however either would work

can you even do duo nex with just zcb and fang?
Yeah of course, the only phases you would use range would be shadow and the final phases. Any range weapon works :)
Nex is worst update , besides speed running.

@@Runnerbeans I hoping they’ll come out with some more mid to high lvl game play. Something where you don’t have too have 1b to do well in the raid and more thrilling than speed running. Especially when leagues was put on hold for that update.
