First Session Back On The River Lure Fishing For Pike And Perch

With a new river season upon us and good weather I got out exploring some of my local stretches in search of good spots to target pike and perch lure fishing on a lighter setup
In total I visited around 5 venues and whilst 2 of them were almost completely inaccessible we still managed to have a few casts on the rest of them.
I had some decent hits on the smaller lures but it wasn't until I got down to a big stretch of the Avon and changed up to a slightly larger shad to target some chunky perch and pike that I really started hooking up!
